Buried alive by an avalanche: How dogs come to the rescue.

A meteorologist allows herself to be buried under feet of snow as part of avalanche dog rescue training.

Man’s best friend may be an understatement for these dogs. They find people who are buried alive under snow. It is a race against time after an avalanche as panic and hypothermia set in as air runs out.

Now I lay me down to sleep,
The king sized bed is soft and deep.

My human beings can hardly move.
I've trapped their legs,
They're tucked in tight,

This illness is similar to pneumonia, so contact your vet immediately if you've noticed any of these symptoms!

🎊Congratulations to members of Pinelands K-9 Dog Training who competed (with much success) at CCDTC last weekend.
Lauren - Edge got his RA title and Ava got her RAE title with a 2nd place in RE and a 3rd in RA.
Stu's Dylan earned his AKC Rally Novice (RN) and one leg towards his Intermediate Rally title with a score of 99, earning 3rd place.
Pat and Freya picked up 2 legs in Rally Novice B, with an 88 first leg and a 99 in 2nd leg, earning 3rd place.
Lisa and Abby entered the ring for the first time and got two 1st places, with scores of 98 and 99, in Rally Novice A.
Nancy's Bodhi took 1st place in Intermediate, getting his 2nd leg. Luke earned his Rally Novice title with a score of 99, taking 2nd place.
In am trial, Cheryl and Jack got a 99 in Masters, 100 in Excellent B, 100 in Advanced B. Also, high triple score and high combined. In pm trial they got 99 in Masters, 100 in Excellent B, 100 in Advanced B!
Fran and Millie received a perfect score in her first attempt at rally, where she got a second place ribbon. In her second attempt, she got a 99 score and a fourth place ribbon, completing her first 2 legs in RN.
