So we came home to a chicken massacre today. INSIDE MY FENCED PROPERTY. 25 dead birds. 3 pieces of my fence line bent over. While straightening out my fence, the neighbors husky is now up against MY FENCE ON MY PROPERTY eyeballing my goats & their babies like they are a bag of begging strips. I tell the dog to the F out of here & the owner comes out cussing me I tell him to keep him damn dog in his yard, that I have no proof aside that the f'ing dog is out on my property again but I'm positive him & his dog were in my yard today & if I catch it over here harassing my animals again I will put a bullet in it. He tells me it's not his fence, it's his dad's (dude looks anywhere between 47-56yrs old) I say I don't give a damn who's fence it is, fix it! Keep your dog off my property or it's dead! I walk back into the house & tell Josh what had just happened & no more than 5 mins later & this guy is LEISURELY walking after his dog on my back fenceline while his dog is making a b-line to the the neighbors with chickens about 4 acres away, remember no more than 5 MINS AFTER I THREATENED TO KILL HIS DOG for harassing livestock. So I filmed the incident. The dog hopped their fence and killed like 5 of their chickens as well. After he finally caught the dog & beat it, he pulled a tpost up & dropped their fence & walked back to his house. I was at work, THESE PEOPLE WERE HOME. HE JUST WALKED AWAY. So here's the video. I believe I need to file a police report, even though I can't prove his dog attacked my chickens, he didn't deny it even when I threatened to put the dog down if it was over harassing my animals again. & he showed no remorse & was completely unapologetic. What do yall think?

Most of my breeding flock is dead.

Sad day on the farm today. Our seasoned mama doe, Cutie, suffered from a malpositioned kid & our wonderful farm friend & vet tech extradoinare, Emma, came to her assistance with helping the delivery of the kid. Sadly the kid didn't make it. But thanks to awesome nurse Emma, Cutie should be just fine.
