-you call the hens your girls and name them after great, great grandmas and aunts
-you are used to checking the bottom of your feet before you come inside
-your friends give you chicken themed gifts (and you like it)
-you think of reasons to have tasty leftovers to purposely give your girls
-you make sure they are tucked in every night
-you make lists of reasons you need more chickens and look forward to spring when baby chicks arrive in stores
-you'd rather be outside hanging with the hens than inside watching TV
-you don't understand people that don't want chickens
-you greet them every morning in a sing-song voice
-you have multiple photos of your flock on your smart phone and make everyone look at the latest pictures

Well we said our goodbyes to our store guinea pig Ray Ray - Ray Ray was loved by so many of our customers and lived a pretty long little life for a guinea pig, he was 7 years old and just such a precious little guy.....we realized quickly that his empty cage and the little voices coming in the store calling his name was going to be quite sad......so we made a decision and adopted Bert & Ernie to fill a huge void at the store.......Bert & Ernie are a little shy and getting use to the chicks and the new friends, little and small, that are looking in on them, plus the stomping of feet from the dancing upstairs.....But we are sure they would love to be held and welcomed by you.......

To our beloved friend Ray Ray, you will be greatly missed and thank you for being one of the best guinea pigs the Double S could of asked for......
