Just loaded up the incubator with our first batch of eggs from our own hens. New baby chicks in 18 days!

We are incubating A&M coturnix Quail.

This variety of coturnix was selectively breed to be better meat/egg quail.

I can’t wait to eat some Fightin’ Texas Aggie quail because that’s exactly what we are going to do to them...
