El Dorado and its surrounding communities have lost a great treasure. We were honored to have Dr Tom Johnson as our mentor, and more importantly, as our friend. He will be missed tremendously.

Nasa would like to announce that she’s super excited about a small remodeling project at the clinic. Please pardon our mess over the next few weeks as we give our lobby and reception area a small facelift. Nothing like remodeling a little at Christmas time!!

She knows. Somehow, Luna instinctively knows. Ms KP meets her at the clinic door. Ms Rachel and Ms Liz take her to the treatment area and place her on the table. Luna wags her tail just a little. This sweet girl, our Luna Tonks, is a trooper when it comes to donating blood. Just like Echo and AJ, she seems to realize that today’s trip to the clinic is different. When finished, she gets down from the table and wags her tail all the way to the bed Ms Liz made for her. The little one that desperately needs her blood seems to improve a little within just minutes of starting the transfusion. But, this transfusion is different than others. This blood transfusion will hopefully buy us time. Time to think and make extremely hard decisions. Decisions that are hard to make any time of year, but especially difficult to make this week. Little one, may Luna’s blood give you the strength to fight.

Happy early Thanksgiving! We will be closed next Thursday, November 28, and Friday, November 29, to celebrate Thanksgiving with our families. Thank you for letting us take care of your four-legged family members.
