It’s that time!
Kids going back to school and fall sports mean we are adding to our barn team. Weekday mornings, a few weekday evenings and weekend shifts available. You do not have to have horse experience but you must be physically able to walk a lot, lift 50lb feed bags, hay bales etc. Your OWN reliable transportation is a must- that means old enough to drive yourself to work in all weather conditions. Shifts involve cleaning stalls, feeding and watering horses, turn in and out. Team players and excellent communication skills are paramount. It’s that time again!

Spring sports seasons and schedule changes means we are looking for a few more people to join our team at Stone Fox Farm

Looking for weekday mornings 7:30am (or earlier) for feeding and bringing in horses. No stall cleaning. Two hour shifts

Monday, Wednesday, Friday evenings hours can be flexible. Cleaning only, very minimal horse handling.

Looking for someone with their own transportation, reliable, team player who can communicate well. I will train the right candidate if you don’t have horse experience. Attention to detail a MUST.

If you like to work independently, no drama, outside with animals- this job is for you!

Get Directions is a 6 year old, 16hh ottb mare located in Augusta, KS who has been to several local schooling shows and is ready to continue her show career. “Getty” is jumping 2’-2’6” and schooling training/first level dressage. We believe she will be best suited for a confident rider with soft hands- this girl is brave, bold, and absolutely loves to jump but is also a bit sensitive. Her ideal match would be someone wanting to be competitive in the jumpers or eventing, though she also has the movement to do well in straight dressage. No limitations, no vices, no maintenance! Currently in front shoes. Good ground manners and turns out in a group. Great for the farrier and vet. PPE welcome at buyer’s expense. Asking 9️⃣5️⃣0️⃣0️⃣

JJM Power Chickette “Chixie”

Chixie is a big bodied QH type mare- registered buckskin but papers are lost. She is about 15.1 She has some nice arena buttons, no speed for any of that stuff. Can sit for years and ride off good. Kids can ride. She does not like lesson horse life- she wants a person who just wants to have fun with her. She needs miles in the trailer but is great when you get to your destination. Was hauled to several fun shows this past summer, ridden in the pasture, etc. lives out, hay only, no shoes.

Apparently she jumps too!!!!!

Jasmine is a palomino AQHA mare deluxe. She has some age on her but she’s like a fine wine! 15h, pretty pretty girl. Has had cutting training, trail ridden, jumps super cute. Same horse day in and day out even after sitting. She has had an easy life these last few years and now she needs a family of her own. It pains me to have this horse leave my barn because she is so sweet and easy to get along with.

Jewel In Tyme “Boca”

Boca is a 2009 Belgian WB mare. She has been my “fun horse” for the past 7 years. I actually broke her while I working for the farm I acquired her from as a four year old. Boca is your stereotypical chestnut mare. She has no time for complicated flatwork. If you want one to just have a good season on and play with in the jumpers, she’s your girl. Laid back in the barn, and to handle, jumps on the trailer with or without you. She does have her opinion on feeding time tardiness and stall passers-by. (Remember I said stereotypical). She requires 2-3 jump schools/wk to be happiest flatting the rest of the days. Every jump is THE jump with this mare. She doesn’t do half-assing. She requires a rider who will hit the gas pedal and stay out of her face, she will always get to the other side- no morning hack/schooling required. She is pleasantly adjustable to the fences… go figure. She will pick you, not the other way around…

Boca is also approved with Westfalen, she has had two foals. Both extremely athletic and branded/approved Westfalen as well.

W***y is a 2015 16.1 OTTB gelding. He is a RRP thoroughbred makeover 2021 graduate, where he competed in the 2’6 Show jumping and Dressage. He recently returned to Kansas from competing at HITS Ocala in the .80m jumpers. W***y has talent for either dressage or jumpers, he would be excellent for eventing but his owner is a chicken and stays in arenas so he has not yet had his chance to school XC. W***y is a super soft ride, very adjustable and a pleasure to show. He has excellent manners and is easy going off property!

Divi is a 2015 16.2h OTTB mare. She is a RRP thoroughbred makeover 2019 graduate where she placed top 10 in the Show Hunter division. She recently returned from showing at HITS Ocala in the take 2 TB Hunter division at 3’. Divi teaches advanced lessons and has been used for IEA. She is a sensitive mare that appreciates a soft ride. She has a great work ethic and needs to stay in a program. She has scope for days.

Divi is also approved with Westfalen- premium mare and was site champion mare at her inspection. She has one three year old filly on the ground who also had premium scores.

Pretty Guilty “Finn”
2016 OTTB gelding, 16.3hh

Finn is the perfect horse for an amateur or teenager!

He has been off the track for over a year and is schooling training/1st dressage and jumping 2’6” courses with plenty of scope to go higher. Has his own motor but not hot or strong, flats and jumps in a rubber snaffle.

Finn has been to several dressage and CT schooling shows with good scores, and has schooled cross country. He’s the same easy going guy whether he’s at home or off property, and whether he’s ridden every day or had a week off.

Finn has impeccable manners both on the ground and under saddle and has the sweetest puppy dog personality. Definitely a barn favorite!

No vices or injuries, current coggins and up to date on all care. PPE welcome at buyer’s expense.
