Here at CheyAut Ranch, our goal is to produce quality Miniature and Icelandic horses that people love to own. We like our horses and their offspring to be used: whether that is riding, driving, halter, therapy, or just loved as a pet. Competing isn't our main thing (enjoying them is!) but we do compete occasionally. Our favorite with the minis is Combined Driving, and with the Icelandics it's fun
things like Trail Challanges. Mainly, we love to get our horses out there in the public where people who don't have a lot of knowledge and experience with them can see what amazing horses they are! Color is never our focus, but since both our breeds do come in many different and fun colors, it's neat that we are able to have a variety! So if you like your minis solid, appy or pinto, and your Icelandics silver, dun, cream or just plain chestnut, we are likely to have one if your color of choice. But please keep in mind, the individual horse (it's conformation, personality, suitability to your chosen purpose) is what should determine your next equine purchase. Color is just icing on the cake :)
We don't sell in utero, but we are open to suggestions on crosses you'd like to see, and we are happy to put you on a waiting list for a certain foal if you know a cross you'd like to purchase from :)
We know others with our breeds, so if there's something in particular you are looking for, send us a message and we may know of someone with a horse that will fit your needs if we don't :)
