These little nuggets were found as strays. Their mother had been hit by a car and was DOA at the shelter. HS took two, two were give to an older couple to foster and possibly adopt, and we took the remaining four: these are not available for adoption via our rescue but they are being transferred to MAD Rescue ~~ Malinois and Dutch Shepherd Rescue, Inc. if you are interested. They are all boys.

Lily was part of a cruelty case and was seized with 34 other dogs. Luckily most of them were small dogs because finding space for large ones is difficult. She’s estimated at 8 years old and is sweet as can be. She is only being fostered by us through the shelter but if you’d like to donate some food, we’re supplementing her dry with Evangers canned puppy food. Everyone that meets her loves her yet no one adopts her. It’s because she’s 6. Yes, getting a dog and then not having it a dozen years is super sad, but Riley deserves a good home. She’s fully vetted, house and crate trained, and good with dogs and kids. She will jump the fence if left alone in the yard with a low fence. She loves toys, treats, and cuddles. She does not act or look six, but yes, she’s six. Please consider Riley. She’s a good girl.

Courtesy post! This is Louie, a 1.5 years old, neutered, up to date on vaccines sheherd who is good with the other dog and 12 yo daugter in the home. He is playful, crate trained, doesn't bite when playing, house trained and needs a home. His owner died and the person that took him in doesn’t have the time for him. Due to transport no longer happening, Rhythm and Charming are available for adoption again. They are both dog friendly.

Pupdate: Rhythm is adopted.
Rhythm looks like a mali mix. Shes mouthy, mischievous, energetic, sweet as can be, and is looking for a happy home that can give her the attention she wants. She loves water, dances on leash, and is food motivated. We think shes around a year old.

Pupdate: Charming is adopted!
Charming was found in a pit with two dogs fighting on top of her. She was then pepper sprayed, pulled out via catch pole, and put on the euth list at the shelter in las cruces. She is very timid and will cower if you raise your voice. We think she’s about a year old. She’s clingy with the potential to resource guard. She still limps some from her ordeal. She did not intro well to kids or strangers.

Both these dogs are fully vetted and ready for a new home. Vet reference and contract required for adoption.

Bugs got you down? Looking for a reliable exterminator? Arpeggio is your dude! This guy doesnt panic in a pinch and doesn’t need a rolled up newspaper to get the job done! He eliminates spiders, flys, mosquitos, and any other kind of creepy crawly he sets his beautiful brown eyes on. His nails are also self maintained 🥰 Get rid of that lil bitch of a man you got and get you a dog! He’s between 1-2 years old, fully vetted, ready to work, doesn’t leave the toilet seat up, and wont complain about your cooking . Dog and people (not bug) friendly. Vet reference and contract required for adoption. Rescues welcome!
