Finally received a reply from the Veterinary Board AAVSB and their new release to standards to assess International Veterinary Technicians on the PAVE program and it is with a heavy heart to announce the European credential I have is NOT recognized by the State of Texas. It is recognized in the Country just not by Texas..Friggin Texas! Get on the list Texas! No wonder El Paso is sucking. Talk about a set up for failure then they proceed to say "You do not need to be licensed through their agency to work as a Vet Technician in Texas" ugh Which one is it? I'm gonna need a lawyer for this jargon. On the bright side the 1995 Vet. Assistant completion and 29 continued education hours were accepted.

PAVE program is accepted and recognized in California, Kansas, Kentucky, Nevada, North Dakota, Ohio, Tennessee or Virginia and possibilities in Manitoba, Alberta, Nova Scotia or Saskatchewan.
