Hello and we need help. There is a feral cat community that we support at the old Bonham Elem. Episd put this up this morning. I know the feral community is protected. Any suggestions out there as who we can call or what we can do.

On a serious note… we DESPERATELY need a part-time weekend kennel worker.

Please come out to apply, we ask that you have reliable transportation and are open to work Saturdays and Sundays!

We will be having to downsize since we can’t find help, we will not be accepting dogs until we can find reliable workers!

Starting pay is $9/hour.

We are happy to announce that HELL HOUND DOG Rescue LLC is setting up to open up again! We took the last few months off to rehome the few dogs that got stuck. Huge thank you to our partner rescues in Oregon, Wisconsin, Arizona and New York for aiding us in finding the perfect homes for our dogs! It’s always been our goal to get dogs OUT of El Paso and our partner rescues make that possible.

We do however, need your help. We want to have $1,000 put away for the first round of dogs that come to us. This money goes to food, spays, neuters, blood work, emergency vet care, dog runs, crates and transport fees. We’re going to rescue on the slower side this year. Fewer dogs at a time so each gets more undivided attention. Our hope is to be able to move more dogs this way, as we’ll have the ability to actually train each one.

A little cat dump for your news feed, meet some of our cats that are available for adoption at petsmart! 🥰🐱

🐾Marilynn- This poor girl was dumped at petsmart with her little baby. Of course her kitten was adopted a long time ago. But unfortunately mom is still here. We got the call July, 12th 2022 about her being abandoned, so we went and picked her took her to our shelter. She’s about 1 1/2 years old, she’s great with other cats. With people though, she does need a little time to warm up. She will need a family who will work with her, and give her all the love in the world.

🐾 Monique- Another momma cat that was brought to us on October, 8th 2022. All five of her babies were adopted, just leaving us with this pretty girl. Monique is about 1 year old. She likes to mind her business, she is okay with other cats & kittens. Loves to be loved on, she loves to brush her head on you. Her as well, will need a bit to adjust.

🐾 August- This guy has come an extremely long wayyyyyy! He came from a hoarding environment of 28 other cats on November 12th, 2022. He was not used to being touched or held, but with the work of our staff within a week he was a totally different cat!! August is about 1 years old. He likes to sleep in his cat tower, talks and likes to be petted.

🐾 Blossom- Her too, another momma cat. Came to us on December 3rd, 2022, All of her four babies were adopted out already. She’s a little bit on the older side around 4 years old. She’s still super playful, she loves to play with the other cats. Very very friendly and super vocal! Girl can talk up a storm. 😂 she loves to be held, she will even let you hold her like a baby!

Larry- He was an owner surrender, he came to us on December 15th, 2022. He was an indoor/outdoor cat.. but we would love for him to be out of harms way and be strictly an indoor cat unless of course on a harness. Larry is about 2 years old. A little shy at first, but super friendly once he opens up.
