Firing up this page again to cover my Kansas operation. We are now located in Haysville Kansas. Just south of Wichita. Im currently working with a 12'x100' garden, just added another 6'x30' plot and hopes to buy a whole extra acre to farm. It will consist of mostly perrenials with some annual production. On the list for this year will be elderberries, chamomile, lavender, fennel, daikon radish, strawberry, blueberries, purple yam, peppers, squash and cactus!! This will be the first year with drip irrigation at this location too. I've been making due with overhead sprinklers off the well the last 3 years but it's time to upgrade so I can inject fertilizer.

Hop rhizomes for sale! Local Sales only! I have lots of centennial hop rhizomes for sale 10 rhizomes for $30. I have about 100 available. Now is the perfect time to get these in the ground for spring. First year these will grow 10-20 feet tall, 2nd year 20+ feet. Great for shade over pergolas. They die back to the ground every fall and give you a large harvest of hop cones for home brewing. Centennial is a great dual purpose hop and fits well with American IPA's. These love the El Paso heat and are hops direct genetics, same plants being grown at Ode Brewery (I planted the hop garden at Ode) I recommend to have these on drip irrigation on a timer and in the ground, not a raised bed or pot. My good friend and farming partner Josém Gin is about to start up a family farm in El Passo to employ him and his wife. Please support him to get the equipment he needs to supply El Paso with local organic produce on a commercial scale. Mario has been farming this region for years supplying schools, restaurants, and farmers markets with premium greens and veggies. Phase 1 will be to get the equipment funded, phase 2 I will organize some work days to help him get it all running. This world needs more young farmers and Mario knows what he is doing and needs some support from you!
