The meetings start at 10.00 a.m with the business meeting. Technical portion of the meetings start at 10:30 am following a short social gathering. Alban's Church at 1801 Elm Street in El Paso.

General information

Monthly programs feature a variety of speakers, including well-known experts on cacti, succulents and geology. Speakers include members of the club who specialize in particular aspects of cactus culture or who travel to exotic cactus locales. Programs include slide shows and videotapes. Frequently, members donate cacti and succulents, as well as cuttings, pups and seedlings to share with other members. Field trips are conducted to view cacti in their native habitats, tours of nurseries, and gardens/arboreta with cacti specialties. Members also take part in programs to educate the general public about cacti and succulents.
