The Ball & Cone Race. She did it twice to show how it's done. One rider picks the ball up and sets it on the 2nd cone, then tags their partner in and they move it back. Each rider goes 3 times.

This is the Baton Race. I wish I would have had another rider to show how the teams tag, but in a nutshell, one person weaves the poles down and back and then come back and hands off the Baton to their partner. Each one goes 3 times.
While it is a race, if you drop your Baton OR knock a pole over, you must dismount and pick the Baton or pole up.

Well regretfully I am here to say that the games have not gotten their 1st entry. Not a single one. Closing date originally was Sept 4th but I think I'm going to move that to this Friday the 2nd. Not worth ordering the ribbons and getting everything ready. I still have hopes that we will get some entries and be able to run. Keeping fingers and toes crossed.

It's been pretty quiet on the page the past month or so but about to get ramped up and let everyone know there will be a games competition in September.
Unfortunately no one hauled in for the Rally in July so we had prizes and ribbons galore not given away and about $150 in prize money also not given away. With that being said from here on out we will only accept pre entries.

Will have a September date soon so keep an eye out 🤠

* The money added Arena Flag Race will run approximately 12pm and will run 12 & under, 13 - 17, and 18+.
* Extras: The Boot Race, Pick up Race(BOTH Winners recievea western pad donated by Angie Gottler), and Ride a Buck (winner takes all) will run after the Rally Games have concluded.

HOW DO YOU WIN?
Teams will run through each games 3 times apiece. If you knock a pole over, or have to get off because you dropped the ball or the flag or anything causing a dismount this will slow you down. While you want to be quick and clever, you also want to be a bit careful. After you and your teammate run through a game 3 times the clock will stop. Times will be tallied up at the end and whomever has the fastest times of all the games will take 1st place. Then 2nd and 3rd places after. If teams have any questions at all about how the game is supposed to run we will have someone there to demonstrate so don't worry about that!

Each division will be placed 1st - 3rd after all five games have concluded. Teams will celebrate with a victory lap!

June 12th GAMES

• Baton Race
One at a time riders will weave the bending poles down and back with a baton in hand and tag their team mate in by passing the baton to them. Each rider will repeat 3 times.

• Stepping-Stone Dash
Riders will start off mounted and ride to the 5 buckets in a line, dismount and lead their ponies while they walk over the 5 buckets without themselves or a bucket falling. Then mount and round the barrel at the end come back and tag their team mate in. Each rider will repeat 3 times.

• Flag Race
There are two cut off cones in a line. One of the cones holds six flags. The rider rides up, picks up a flag and then rides back to put it in the end cone. One at a time picking up one flag at a time from the first cone and place it into the second cone and then tag their team mate in. Each rider will repeat 3 times. All 6 flags will end up in the far cone.

• Mug Race
A barrel holds 6 coffee mugs. One at a time riders must pick up a mug and put it on the poles from first pole to last pole and go down and turn around the last pole to come back. Each rider will go 3 times and there will be a mug on each pole.

• Pyramid Race
2 upside down buckets will be place in a line. The first bucket will hold 6 weighted containers. One at a time riders must pick up a container and place it on the next bucket carefully stacking the containers on top of each other so they don't fall. Each rider will repeat 3 times each until all 6 containers are stacked
