Hey Everybody,

I apologize for the uncertainty of appointments these past couple months. As some of you know, I had messed up my right wrist and was unable to do any farrier work, then followed that up by being sick. I am now beginning to work again, so I am moving a little slower than I was this fall but am scheduling appointments again.

I would like to thank Everyone for their patience, I finally got my replacement phone up and running and will be starting to return messages in the morning. I believe I have at least most of the contacts from my old phone so thats definitely something to be thankful for!

I want to let everyone know my phone quit working, I can't receive or send any messages and I no longer have everyone's contact information. I will try to remedy the situation ASAP and hopefully get back to those of you who were trying to contact me. Through my wife's phone, I still have access to my calendar and won't need to miss any appointment that are already scheduled, but won't be able to schedule any new appointments for a few days. Once I get a new phone I will post here again that I am once again open for business. I will be keeping my phone number so you can still contact me in a few days.

Hey Everyone, and happy riding season! Starting April 22nd, my weekday availability is becoming much more flexible. With this I am also willing to take on some new clients, (Please keep in mind that I would like to avoid traveling more than an hour away from Eldora, IA).

Just a reminder that prices are:
- Equine Trims $50
- Half-Set $100
- Full-Set $140
- Pads $35 (Per Half-Set)
*Other add-ons extra
- Sheep / Goats $15 per head

Beginning Nov 6th, my availability is changing a little bit for the winter:

Monday - Friday: Appointments can be scheduled as early as 3:45 pm and anytime after.

Saturdays: Available all day.

ROUGH WOODS FARRIER UPDATE!

Good morning, I just wanted everybody know that as of July 1st, 2023 I will be raising prices as follows:
- Trims —> $50
- Half Sets —> $100
- Full Sets —> $140

*all additional add ons or specialty shoes are subject to additional charge.

*beginning on this date I am also offering a discount for those willing to bring their horses to me. Those prices will be as follows:

Trims —> $40
Half Sets —> $80
Full Sets —> $120

To all of the family chiropractors, doctors, and handymen who will be traveling to visit family and friends this holiday weekend... I now understand 😂...

Here is my bare minimum shoeing kit (I will have to supplement something for my anvil). Also the parade koozies have arrived! Keep an eye out for the Rough Woods Ranch horses in your local parades!
