Our county programs, mentoring, one on one animal experiences, ranch learning opportunities, tours, and special events are designed to unlock the full potential in every person who sets foot on our property. Acres for Joy is a 501c3 nonprofit organization that is stewarded by Pleasant Valley Youth Ranch, PVYR, and also shares a home within the same grounds. Pleasant Valley Youth Ranch currently of

fers county services through one-on-one mentoring, ISDE Groups and Equine Therapy. Each youth participant that is referred to the ranch are there to work on individualized goals with the help of an enriching environment of nature and animals and our support along the way. Our ranch provides a welcoming and inclusive environment where the activity of the moment displaces the pressures of the day. We are called home by 7 horses, 2 mini horses, 1 mini donkey, 10 goats, 2 sheep, a dozen quails and chickens, and a very happy cat and dog. Our focus on individualized encounters and small group learning opportunities means that each visit to the ranch is special and unique. Do you know of a child that could benefit from opportunities that promote and encourage positive leadership, communication skills amongst many other life skills? Do you know of a child that has barriers and challenges in their lives, big or small?

We have a program for you! ❤️

Acres for Joy, a non-profit organization that is housed by Pleasant Valley Youth Ranch, is rolling out a scholarship program for youth with extra challenges and barriers in their daily lives.

This program is designed to encourage youth's self-confidence, self-esteem, leadership skills, communication skills, along with many other life skills with the use of our various farm activities offered.

Jeff Jackson welcomes our first elementary group!

💛 The adventure continues! ❤️ We are so excited to welcome 4 more groups to the property for weekly visits. 💜 Meadowview Elementary kicked off our 8 week spring ranch learning program for third-fifth graders! They had the honor of being the very first elementary school session on property. 💚 These students will enjoy horse grooming and leading, wagon rides, greenhouse planting, crafts, leatherwork and so much more! 🧡 Our motto of “Encourage, Empower, Engage” is spreading far and wide in the Eau Claire Community School District. 💙 Enjoy this short clip of Jeff Jackson welcoming students and teaching about property safety and expectations.
