Tonight is the first night of open houses for the Elgin Minnesota Volunteer Fire Department Elgin Ambulance Service and the proposed Elgin Emergency Services Building. Please if you’re able to, attend one of them or find a time to meet with us to go through our current buildings and have a conversation on why we are looking to update our current facilities and put the two services under one roof. With a combined 240 plus annual calls for service from individuals willing to put their lives on hold at any moment every hour of the year, all we ask is to come with an open mind and see what these services are providing you. We have a great community with great volunteers and look to only make it better and a lot safer for all, including those that use our facilities from other organizations.

If you’re in need of an estimate for insurance, or to have the damage repaired, I am here to help you through the entire process. Today I had the privilege of hosting students from PEM and Wabasha Kellogg for a career day tour. It was an opportunity to share my journey and give the students some insight on what to expect and different opportunities within the auto repair industry. It was a first for me as a small business owner to do this and I have to say it was a neat opportunity for all involved. Thanks to Kevin Cardille who is a Career Navigator for putting this all together and the schools for allowing the students to tour the area and see what the industry has to offer.

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you to all of my customers new and returning for putting your trust in me to get your vehicles damage repaired or accessorized. Like most businesses, this year has brought ups and downs but I am thankful for every job wether it was an hour or many hours. I take much pride in developing a friendship with each customer from the minute they walk through my door or simply call on the phone, and I hope all of you know you are not just a number to me. From start to finish your vehicle is cared for as if it were my own. I thought this meme was fitting this year as there were times I found myself using the air compressor to clean off an old mask to try and get a few more jobs out of it with the still shortage of n95 masks that I wear daily. As I turn the calendar to a new year I look forward to new friendships and also taking care of the needs of all of my customers. Happy New Years!
