Our Story
Kimbra & Ron met in college, both rodeoing for McNeese State university in Lake Charles, LA. They made choices taking them different directions where lots of life happen over 16 years. Kimbra was looking for a place to keep her horse during the pro rodeo at Lafayette & her mutual friend gave Ron's number and that changed the course of their journey.
LaFleur Equine started in the 1980's. Through the guidance of family and the blessing of accumulating mares, Both were fortunate enough to rodeo on through the years. Kimbra & Ron were blessed to acquire a diverse group of mares that have either proven themselves, or their siblings were proven, outstanding.
