Happy Tongue Out Tuesday from Orion!

Welcome our “Little Dreamers” litter!! These cuties were born 05/07/25 and ready for their forever home!! They are likely Australian Shepherd / Hound mixes (We do not DNA test) who are working on all things puppy. Adopters should be dedicated to working on potty training and crate training, as well as future obedience training to make sure these babies grow up to be great adult dogs. They will need active families who will include them in all of their adventures. Hello! I’m Orion. I am an all around, up for anything, guy. I love to snuggle, enjoy my playtime and like to explore a little bit here and there. My mom has taught me to be a well rounded pup. I like to just take it easy!

Skye is a 1.5 yr old girl that loves to hang out with her humans and enjoy the beautiful weather!

Skye is the beautiful mother of our “Lil Dreamer’s” litter. This poor girl was found wandering the streets, pregnant. A good samaritan scooped her up, and she was able to have her babies safely in rescue. She has raised her babies and is now ready to find a home of her own. This sweet lady is housebroken and crate trained. She is good with just about everyone she meets, including cats and kids!! Momma Skye is approximately 1 and a half years old and 41 lbs. She is a laid back girl who likes to take her mornings on the patio while her foster mom drinks coffee. Skye watches the birds and the squirrels and enjoys all of the entertainment. As she is a refined lady, she cannot be bothered to chase them, but rather enjoys taking it all in. Her foster mom says she is well behaved and affectionate and would make a great addition to any family. Skye is heartworm positive,and will be receiving treatment (paid for by the rescue). Because of this she is also not yet spayed. Once she has been treated for heartworm, and has tested negative, she will be ready to be spayed (at one of our partner vets). Anyone interested in Skye should be aware she will be a foster to adopt, until she is heartworm negative and spayed. Potential adopters will also speak to a member of the medical team prior to foster to adopt, so they have a full understanding of treatment

Moxie hopes you had a relaxing Labor Day Weekend!

We are in immediate need of a foster, adopter, or foster to adopt for Moxie. She’s a sweet, Senior couch potato and has been with us for 18 months. Unfortunately, her Foster’s life situation is changing and she can no longer foster our house hippo.
Moxie is a 9yo girl. She has sensitive skin that she routinely receives veterinary care for. Moxie can be selective with other dogs, but tends to do better with small dogs than big dogs. We could set up a meet/greet before committing to foster if you have another dog at home.

Meet our featured pup of the week: Tater Tot!

Welcome to our Potato Puppies. These sweet babies are about 8 weeks (DOB 06-25-25). They are terrier mixes (Mom is a terrier, dad is unknown) and are working on all things puppy. They weigh between 3-4 lbs now, and mom is around 23 lbs full grown. They are playful and love to snuggle with their foster mom. They are good with other dogs of all sizes and have steered away from cats. Dogs in this litter are: Curly Fry (M), Tater Tot (F). Potential adopters should be committed to potty training, obedience training and socialization, so these babies can grow up into wonderful adult dogs.

Venus waiting patiently for her walk!

Are you ready to add a four-legged friend to your family? Look no further than the paw-sitively precious Venus! This shy, 2-year-old pitbull mix is a sweet delight, just waiting to steal your heart. Venus may be a bit cautious around new faces and places, but once she warms up, this girl is a total "tail-wagging" machine! She's a pro on the leash, loves cruising in the car, and is even crate-trained – talk about a well-rounded pup. And with four canine companions already in her pack, she's learning how to control her fears and just be a dog. She is attending play group twice a week at a boarding facility and is learning to be around new dogs and humans. Sure, it may take some time and treats for Venus to fully trust her new humans, but that's all part of the adventure, right? This active girl is looking for a family willing to give her the patience and space she needs to blossom. Just imagine the bond you'll build as you help this shy sweetie come out of her shell. She loves toys and cuddling on her foster parent’s laps at night. She is also a true pitty, as she likes to sunbathe belly side up for hours. So, what are you waiting for?
