If you don't feel comfortable driving 🚗 tomorrow or can not make it, you can always pick out your puppy virtually and then schedule a different time to pick up your puppy in person from our 🏠

We are flexible and are happy to work something out with you, but the puppy picks need to be in the order that our clients left us a deposit. This way, it's fair to everyone 😊

🎶 This is SO much fun!! We do this in baby steps: 👇
1.) Have the puppies watch their mom walk in/out several times to show that it is safe.
.
2.) Keep all the flaps open and let them check out the door for the first time at their own pace.
.
3.) After some time, we start to encourage them to go through the door and praise them when they do.
.
4.) Start closing some of the flaps and continue to praise them when they go through the door.
.
We like to start this process around 4 weeks of age when there are a couple of nice consecutive days ☀️. It could take 1-3 days by the time we close all of the flaps (step 4). This way, when they get tired or it gets colder 🥶 outside, the puppies feel comfortable coming back inside on their own without any hesitation.

All of this requires very close monitoring and engagement with the puppies!

On the very first day of novelty item exposure, I only introduced 2 of them in the whelping box. Soon after that, I added more (what you see in this video 📹). In the beginning, the puppies typically take very little interest to new items added to the whelping box. Soon enough, they will be crawling all over them with keen interest!
