Their 👀 are ALL open now, which means we started whelping box novelty item exposure! There is also only a couple more days left of ESI (Early Scent Introduction) and ENS (Early Neurological Stimulation) before they graduate from that.

In the stone 💎 litter (Ruby's gang) we used small plastic ducks for their first introduction. In the reindeer🦌 litter (Olives gang) we used very small stuffed toys for their first introduction.

We initially like to use items that are small in size, stationary, and do not make any loud sounds. This way it is less intimidating to them. We also allow them to explore these new items at their own pace. Some will interact with them while others won't, which is normal at this age.

Before this first introduction, they never had anything in their whelping box except for their mom and the fabric under their paws 🐾 That's why it's important to slowly introduce new things in a way that doesn't cause them any stress.

Our approach to their new exposures is part of the curriculum we provide to the puppies throughout the entire 8 weeks they are raised here. This curriculum was designed by Badass Breeder

We have tips to help you keep your puppy safe before they are fully vaccinated!👇

We recommend that you keep all 4 paws 🐾 off the ground and away from unfamiliar dogs when in public places until your dog is fully vaccinated

This doesn't mean you can't go anywhere with your pup. We actually encourage you to take your pup places as part of their socialization, but to be smart 🧠 about it in a way that will protect their health.

Fortunately, there are many ways to accomplish this❗When in public, you can carry your puppy in your arms, use a puppy designated backpack 🎒 like in the photo, a stroller, or a wagon.This photo actually comes from a previous client of ours.

We understand that there will be times your puppy will need to go potty 🚽 🚻 when in public. Another tip💡we have is to use disposable puppy p*e pads or look for places there is significantly less foot traffic 👣

These tips💡will help reduce the chance of your puppy coming into contact with infectious canine diseases like Parvovirus (can be fatal) or parasites 🪱 that can be picked up anywhere in public places.

Did you know that a dogs digestive system is still developing until around 6 months of age ⁉️

When you combine that with a puppy that is not fully vaccinated 💉 yet, canine infectious diseases and parasites can cause havoc in that dog's body!

‼️ Remember that a healthy puppy is a happy puppy 😃

The biggest & the smallest puppies from both litters! We are still weighing ⚖️ them daily for a couple more days. After that, we weigh them less often around 2-4 times per week.

Because Diamond 💎 from Ruby's gang (the stone litter) is the smallest puppy we have ever delivered, we weigh her more often than her siblings to keep a close eye on her. She is so tiny and cute!!! 😍

At this time, Diamond's 💎 siblings are more than twice her size, so they can easily push her aside when they nurse! All this means is that we are more involved with her feedings to ensure she gets enough nutrition from her mom, Ruby 💪

Olive's litter are named after 🎅 reindeer 🦌

PUPDATE! - "Stephanie! Thanks for reaching out and Walter (formerly lobster tail) is doing fantastic! He is such a sweet boy. He is just about potty trained and now fully loving his crate! He also knows sit and paw."

PUPDATE from River's mom! "Omg, river has a nose!!! I tossed some food in her kennel and she searched that kennel top to bottom in the most perfect textbook pattern. It was beautiful."

"River is doing fantastic!! Still wicked smart and she’s definitely a dog that wants a job, so I might try and build her into a hunting dog."

River is hot pink girl from Mango and Jasper's fall litter. She is now residing with Lindsey and Holly (Jace's sister and mom) in Parker, Colorado. Lindsey has a strong interest in gun dog training and scent work, so it sounds like River is a great fit for her! CK9 Goldens Comrade K9 Training

We are excited to watch her grow up and see if she gets to have any fun with hunting or scent work.

Ruby & Jasper's LAST litter together! They need a special theme name❗Any ideas?

These puppies are now 6 days old. Similar to Olives litter, they were started on Early Scent Introduction (ESI) and Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS) a few days ago. They are also being weighed ⚖️ and stimulated to p*e and poo daily to monitor their nutrition, bladder, and bowel status very closely.

We will start to call our clients on the waitlist to offer them a spot next weekend! Their go home day 📅 will be Saturday, February 1st!

Ruby is doing an incredible job taking care of her last litter of puppies 😍 After this, she will officially retire!

Introducing Olives gang and we need your help with picking a theme name❗These puppies are now 5 days old.

They were started on Early Scent Introduction (ESI) and Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS) yesterday with Ruby's gang. They are being weighed ⚖️ and stimulated to p*e and poo daily to monitor their nutrition, bladder, and bowel status very closely. We also monitor their cord site very closely as it dries up and falls off on its own to make sure it doesn't become infected.

This litter has: 4 boys ♂️ and 3 girls ♀️

We will start to call our clients on the waitlist to offer them a spot late next week or over the weekend! Their go home day 📅 will be Saturday, January 25th.

These puppies and their mom are all doing fantastic 💖

Happy Thanksgiving! We are hosting to keep a close 👁 on our pregnant dogs. Jace and I are incredibly grateful for all of our past, present, and future clients and for the puppies that we will get to meet VERY soon ❤️

It doesn't look like they will be having their puppies today (thank goodness!), which means we can enjoy every minute of this day with both sides of our family ❤️

PUPDATE from 💙 Ahi Tuna's humans! "He is such a sweet boy and very cuddly 🥰." He will go sit by our back door when he needs to be let out and waits for his treat once he goes potty outside and comes back in. He’s really starting to get the hang of it and is a smart boy!...."

"Yes, I would say his evaluation definitely is spot on! He loves to be held and likes to lay in our laps. He’s starting to play more with toys, but will bring them back to us and play with them in our laps. He is not bothered by any loud sounds (vacuum, pots and pans, ect). He is starting to get very confident and has no issues going down our 3 steps when going outside. He also loves to be outside and hangout in the sunshine!"

"Franklin adjusted great and didn’t experience any GI issues as we continue to give him the recommended probiotics and pumpkin enzymes on his food."

"Thank you so much for all that you guys did with him in his first 8 weeks! We are so in love with him and it’s been great getting to watch him adjust and see his little personality start to come out!"

Sierra & Aspen went on a snowy ❄️ adventure with us! With two litters being born soon, this was our LAST chance to take a day trip into the mountains for over 2 months.

When we have puppies here, we don't ❌️ go on vacation, we don't ❌️ take any weekend trips, and we don't ❌️ take any day trips to the mountains. That's because we need to be home more to take care of the puppies and their mom ✅️. They need us ❤️

We had a wonderful time and this was the first time Aspen went hiking in the snowy mountains with us. Sierra has done this many times 🥾

PUPDATE! Prime Rib 🖤 is now Louie. His mom said, "we can’t believe it been a week already too! Louie is adjusting so well and really starting to feel at home and show us his fun, energetic self!"

"We are so incredibly happy to have him in our family and can’t wait to watch the bond he’s forming with the kiddos continue to grow."
