Godfather Gun Dogs is a Colorado State authorized and PACFA certified birddog training facility. We are devoted in developing bird dogs for the discriminating bird hunters and campaigning AKC horseback field trial dogs. We offer a year-round hunting dog training and boarding program to the public, as well as providing training class to dog owners and field trial competitors alike. We have over 20

years of success in training sporting breeds and offer special courses for sporting dogs that are field challenged. In addition to our training services, we are a breeder of an exquisite and highly successful line of field Brittany and English Pointers. We take pride in breeding and raising bird dogs that not only are eager to please but also possess striking physiques and overflow with natural abilities.

The seasoned dogs got to stretch their legs this morning, seemed like this warm spell brought out all their A game. The scenting condition was not all that fancy but a few dogs managed to dig up birds on the limb. Dog of the day is shared by Rita and Mac, both did a nice job and made their wingman to turn on the afterburners. Another great workout in the books

Finally having a cooler day to work a full morning, we made 7 bird contacts between the 8 dogs. The dog of the day goes to Mr. "T" with 2 finds and were flawless on his bird work. These 2024 first year broke dogs are coming together nicely. T is love by Layne and Diane Peterson
