Juliette has returned to the shelter due to her not getting along with her cat siblings, otherwise she did great! So we are hoping Juliette can get a home with no kitties. Will you be her forever Valentine? We know her soulmate is out there somewhere!
Distinguished, easy-going, older gentleman looking for a wonderful human to spoil me with love, pets, gentle exercise, good food, and a soft, cozy place to relax…a few extra treats thrown in for my good behavior and loving companionship would be lovely. Im a good boy who’d much prefer a home to life in the shelter…patiently waiting for my someone special 💜 We do not own rights to song.
Hi guys, Daisy here…I just heard that I’m three years old - I’m shocked - I still feel like a puppy inside 😃 Don’t like to toot my own horn, but I also overheard that I’m a “Doll” and “super-smart.” My volunteer friend spent some time with me today and I really appreciated getting some fresh air. We played fetch (she said I’m an expert) and she fed me extra treats. I LOVE toys and can get really excited, but if you check out my video you can see I’m getting pretty good at dropping the ball so I can play some more and I’m also working on my patience with “Sit” and “Stay.” My volunteer friend said just being around me lifted her spirits - I even had her laughing 😂 Shelter life is not fun for an active girl like me, so if you’re an active human who likes to toss a ball around -
I might be your perfect catch 🩷

Beautiful Hank needs a forever home!
Single Canine female searching for a calm home with a single human (or quiet couple)
I'm not comfortable in the shelter and I tend to let it be known when people near my kennel which is probably why I'm still here but I promise I'm a completely different gal once I'm out.
I prefer to do my business outdoors and make that a priority when I go outside. I walk well on a leash but enjoy stretching my legs in the play yard as well.
I'd love a home with and understand soul who will give me a chance and a little time to decompress while I adjust to a new routine so I can reach my full potential. A soft bed to lay on would be lovely as well .
~ INDY is a 4 year old shepherd mix that weighs 57 pounds and does seem to prefer the company of ladies as men are a bit intimidating for her at first
Meet these cuties! One-on-one, they are clingy and seem a little unsure of things. As soon as you pair them up with another sibling or both, you see an immediate difference in all of them...all of a sudden they are happy, outgoing, playful, and goofy. As you can see in the video, They all still made their rounds to get human love and attention - they truly are sweet dogs, and we know the likely hood of them getting adopted with another sibling is low, but wouldn't it be awesome. Once they had the space of the play yard to run - they ran and raced with each other - it was so fun to watch. Since they are used to having siblings, they may do well (or better) in the right (meet and greet vetted) multi-pet home.
Sweet Juliette is still waiting for her forever home!
Spay/Neuter license plate
Did you know that you can help Kentucky Animal Care & Control shelters year round by purchasing or renewing a Spay/Neuter license plate? The spay and neuter license plate was adopted to raise awareness of the need to reduce the population of stray and homeless animals in Kentucky. Some proceeds from the sales of spay and neuter license plates go to the Animal Control and Care Fund, which is administered by the Animal Control Advisory Board. The Board awards grants for construction, equipment, educational supplies, and other uses or programs for local animal control and care programs.
