We had a super special guest at the pumpkin patch today. Papaw’s 5th grade teacher, Mr. Larry French, at Licoln trail Elementary stopped by. Papaw Mink is 82 and Mr. French is 91.

Very busy and productive weekend at the pumpkin patch. Mamaw and Weslyn and Willow took a little time to test some on the games. Weslyn says ”it’s good”. You can’t beat a recommendation like that. 😜

Who else is ready for cooler weather, pumpkin patches and corn mazes. We are gearing up for another great year at the farm. Pumpkins and mums are growing and looking beautiful. We can’t wait to see everyone. Opening day will be September 16th.

About 20 years ago my late brother in law Leaon Mink said “Rob, would you mind planting pumpkins on Father’s Day” and I replied ”not at all”. I don’t believe that we have missed planting pumpkins on Father’s Day in the last 20 years. Happy Father’s Day to you, to my dad and to Leon. I miss both of them dearly.

Have you attempted our corn maze this year? If not today is the day! It’s going to be absolutely beautiful! Don’t forget to grab a game card to try and solve the puzzle in the maze. Out of all the mazes this one is our favorite! Brad loved the pumpkin patch & everything that came with it.

Happy National Farmers Day!
The two selfless people that started it all. Mink and Walters Pumpkin Patch started in 2002 when Mamaw and Papaw Mink decided to grow some pumpkins for their grandkids to sell by the roadside similar to a lemonade stand to teach them about running a business and for them to earn some extra cash. We have grown every year. Now thousands of people will visit us in the fall to buy pumpkins and enjoy the farm. Mamaw and Papaw Mink selflessly allows their grandkids to share their farm with you. Thank you to all our customers who come and support our business.
