Earlier this show season, this very special keepsake remembrance bracelet was found. It was turned in to the facility office and brookside would like to find the rightful owner. It is a petite size but it sure means a lot to someone.

Brookside is barking around the Christmas tree this weekend with the Norcal Austrailian Shepard specialty holidays show tomorrow.

Everything else is A - ok and Brookside is filling up the 2025 show dates for April May June September and October!

The 2024 Show Season is a Wrap at Brookside Show Park.

It was a great year and Brookside sends out a huge thank you to everyone that came to the Opening Day, The Splash, Back to School and finished out the year at the Fall Finale.

The series trophies are a cumulation of points from the Opening Day, Splash, Back to School and Fall Finale. This year the winners are:

Brookside was a super fun and rewarding show for our barn! Ribbons are fabulous (and a highlights reel is coming soon!), BUT seeing the progress in these horse and rider teams from the beginning of the season to now is truly what it’s all about! You guys rocked it this year!

A fun fact about the famous trail course designer Don Lehman.
PCQHA Hall of Fame inductions from 2019 A magical mare named Glowin Passthe Bar, owned by Don Lehman. This mare was purchased as a yearling from David James during the AQHA world show. “We actually traded her for a mare we had brought to trade at the sale” shared Don, “and during a huge snowstorm. She immediately showed a willing and smart personality that went on to earn her many awards and top ten awards for trainer Judy Bonham and Don’s daughter, Jennifer”.

She then went on to earn Don huge honors in the select arena with numerous top ten, reserve world championship honors in both trail and showmanship. “She changed my life” said Don. You see Glowie gave Don a career in the trail course design arena, where his expertise is world renowned. She also helped many young and old riders learn to ride. Her willingness and talent will long be remembered.
