All the “Boop-able” noses from the cutest sanctuary horses! The last few days have been a nice taste of spring! 🌷🌼 Horses are loving the warmer temps with blankets off! Happy and healthy!

Belle and Babe want to remind everyone that we’re only a couple days away from the pie and ice cream social coming up at Wilson park in Menomonie for National night out!! 🤩🤩 You don’t want to miss out on all the goodies that will be served! 🥧🍦🌭

Also a huge thank you to The Red Cedar Speedway for donating our hotdogs and buns along with water! It’s greatly appreciated!!

Wow, this is coming up fast! Be sure to mark your calendars for August 6th for a great night of fun, music and food. The Ludington Guard Band will have their final concert of the summer that night and it is also National Night Out, so there will be a ton going on 😍. If you would like to help or donate goodies just let us know on this post or message us on our page!

It’s been a minute! The month of May was busy here at the sanctuary, between annual vet work for the horses, teeth and vaccines along with deworming, hauling hay, having some delivered, and some much needed fence repairs, summer snuck right up on us! The horses are all doing fabulous and enjoying the beautiful days we have been having! ☀️☀️🌻🌻

Days have been busy here at the sanctuary! Spring is upon us and that means updating vaccinations and deworming all of our sanctuary horses along with having their teeth checked! 🌷🌷 We also have some fencing projects happening! Excited to share our new updates in the next couple of weeks! Until then, here’s more of those cute and adorable long faces we all love! ❤️❤️

💛Thankful Thursday💛

This week we would like to introduce Babe! She is one of our oldest here at the sanctuary but is young at heart! She came to us after her owner had some life changing circumstances where she needed to be re-homed…..so she found her way here ♥️ Her personality is sweet with some sass (she has the mare-tude 😉) but is always the first to meet you at the gate, looking for treats, breakfast or dinner. Babe loves all the attention, she is mostly retired, but does occasionally tote some kids around at a walk! She’s easily captured the hearts of anyone who has met her!

💛Thankful Thursday!💛

We love every single one of our horses here at the sanctuary! With that, we’d like to share some more information on all of them! Starting with Amigo! He has been with us for about 8 months now, and is one of a kind! His quiet, calm personality makes him so easy to love! He likes all the attention, grooming and being ridden by his favorite little rider. 💕 Amigo has a few special needs, being he has very little teeth, he loves his safe choice senior mash that he gets 2-3 times and day and lives for lush green pastures! His little ears and big blaze make him the absolute, most adorable little guy!

Breakfast at the sanctuary looks pretty darn good for these three seniors ♥️♥️ full bellies make happy horses! Many of our horses require special feed requirements to keep them at a healthy weight, which means multiple feedings a day along with supportive supplements!
