Safe Fun in the Sun: # Keeping Your Pup Happy and Healthy in the Yard ☀️
Summer is here, and our furry friends deserve to enjoy some sunshine too! But before you let your pup loose in the yard, there are a few things to remember to ensure their playtime is safe.

Shade It Up! Provide plenty of shady areas for your pup to escape the hot sun. An umbrella, a doghouse, or strategically planted trees can all work!

Water, Water Everywhere! Ensure your dog has access to fresh, cool water at all times. Dehydration can set in quickly on hot days.

Plant Power! Not all plants are dog-friendly. Research common garden plants to make sure yours aren't toxic to pups.

Pool Time Safety! ‍ If you have a pool, make sure your dog has a way to easily get out. A ramp or special doggy stairs can help!

Keeping Cool! Avoid leaving your dog outside for extended periods during the hottest part of the day. Bring them inside to relax in the air conditioning.

Bonus Tip! Frozen treats like Kongs filled with peanut butter or broth are a great way to keep your pup cool and entertained.

Had the opportunity to install a fence for Ken & Tammy and their dogs Roo & Stinger. Two dogs that have two completely different personalities but yet are both high energy. They caught on very quickly to the training and now their owners have peace of mind knowing their dogs can still chase the deer but stay contained in their yard. What a great experience meeting the dogs and their owners.

Just finished an install for J and Taylor and there 8 month old pug “Ole” in Elk River.

What an amazingly smart young puppy. After spending just a few minutes in the yard, he already was refusing to go to the flags with just the beep. No shock at all. He is definitely on his way to being able to run free in the yard and enjoy being outside.
