How do I put into words how much this one horse touched every person he met. He pushed me as a trainer and made me better. He liked to do things his way with strong opinions but I wouldn't have had it any other way. He changed my life and I will never forget all of the wonderful memories he gave us. I am forever grateful for all he did for Kylie and for being such a perfect teacher for her. Thank you to the entire Anderson family for trusting me with your heart horse. Trevor you were a force and I will never forget you. Thank you Pickle Boy you were the best💕

It was a hard day for everyone at Swanson Stables. Today, we said goodbye to one of the biggest personalities I have ever had the pleasure to work with, Triple Checkmate. He fought so hard through is illness and always tried his best. There will NEVER be another one like you Joey.

Some horses will test you, some will teach you, and some will bring out the best in you.

We are sad to say that yesterday afternoon we had to lay our sweet JR to rest. He was such a special horse to everyone here at Swanson Stables. And though he may not have won any ribbons of his own for us at the shows there have been a lot of blue ribbons that happened because of him! Thank you JR for helping all of our riders be the best they could be and for helping me to be a better teacher. We will never forget you sweet boy💕
