Happy Saturday to all our Clients!
We just wanted to remind you all that with this weather being so unseasonal that the ticks are out and about. Any day over 30 degrees they are looking for a meal. Did you know 1 in 5 dogs in Clayton County have Lyme Disease! Deer ticks, which are usually to small to see, can transmit Lyme Disease to us and our dogs. Below is a picture showing how small they can be. Call us and ask about different types of preventatives we carry.

Elgin (Valley):

Monday - Tuesday:: 8:00AM to 4:30PM
Wednesday:: CLOSED
Thursday:: 7:30AM to 5:00 PM
Friday:: 8:00AM to 4:30PM
Saturday: CLOSED

After normal business hours, please call either (563) 426-5622 or (563) 245-1633 and leave a detailed message, being sure to include your number for call back, with any emergency.

Just a reminder that Elkader, Strawberry, and Valley Vet Clinics offices will be closed tomorrow, Thursday November 23rd, so that our staff can celebrate Thanksgiving with their families.

HOME NEEDED!

This is Irwin. He is just over 1 year old Aussie/Collie mix. Irwin is great with cows, dogs, cats, and kids. He would do best on a farm as he has a lot of energy and loves to run and play. There will be a rehoming fee since when he came to us he needed to be neutered and brought up to date on vaccines. Please, serious inquiries only! Our Technician Katreena has been taking care of him so ask for her! Call the clinic and ask for her Katreena. The number is 563-245-1633.

ROAD CONSTRUCTION on HWY 13 South towards Strawberry Point is causing many delays. You could be stuck waiting for the pilot car for UP TO 20 MIN. If you are coming from Volga/Strawberry/Elkport/Garber via Hwy13, or coming from downtown Elkader, your route is affected!

If you are late for your appointment, we will still see you, just understand that you may have to wait if other appointments are already here.
