It was a great night last night at the Wellfield Botanic Gardens holiday light show! Thank you to Debbie, Lynn, Bridgette, Vicki, Sue, Kris, Linda, and Chris, volunteers who came out to help. We were honored to be chosen as a sponsorship organization this year!

Thank you Public Vet for fixing 807 cats in Elkhart this year!! See you in 2025 🐈

"The FIX is IN!" has wrapped up its 2024 clinics, and we’re THRILLED to share that, through our partnership with Public Vet, over 14,000 cats were spayed or neutered in 2024! (The staff at Public Vet are truly spay/neuter superheroes—we’re not sure they ever sleep!)

It’s hard to fully capture the impact this has on local shelters and rescues, so let’s break it down with a few examples:

- Connersville: 658 cats fixed
- Elkhart: 807 cats fixed
- Scottsburg: 739 cats fixed
- Crown Point: 1,324 cats fixed

Can you imagine the impact of having HUNDREDS fewer cats having kittens and ending up in shelters? It’s not just about fixing one cat—it’s about preventing countless future litters.

A huge THANK YOU to Here Kitty Kitty Rescue for taking these babies brought in to our clinic Saturday. They were not in great shape and the colony caretaker did not want them back. We were lucky that Here Kitty Kitty stepped up for their rescue!

We will be having our annual shelter sale this Saturday, Nov 2nd from 10 - 2 at Pet Supplies Plus in Goshen. Prices are $25 small, $40 large during the sale. Shelters will remain in the store this winter but will be offered at retail pricing. Come get yours Saturday at the wholesale price!
