For those that wanted to know what a blue Griff looks like,this girl was born here 9 yrs ago to a black female and a black/tan male.They are missing a chromosome the reason for being blue,no I don't nor will I ever purposely breed them,as they can have health issues with there skin on down the road,not all of them do,but some will. Sapphire the girl pictured has never had any issues at all,but her owner has always fed her a raw diet.

We have new babies today!! Chari and Mikey are new parents to 6 beautiful Griffs! 5 males, 1 female there are 2 blue males in this litter, and no I don’t breed for any colors except for the standard colors, no Chocolates or Blues so I will admit I was a little disappointed seeing 2 Blue puppies until I looked into those precious little faces, and my heart melted, I am so thankful God let them all be healthy as well as momma came through in spectacular fashion, so many answered prayers!!!

Last week our little Robo left us to cross the rainbow bridge, we knew his time was coming , but it was still so hard to watch him leave. I had been getting some of his meds from Chewy, I called them at 3 in the morning spoke with a real LIVE person who was super nice about cancelling my order for his meds, as well as making sure there wasn’t something else they could do for me, today I received these beautiful roses from them expressing there sympathy, I had heard other people say they had received flowers from them when there fur baby passed,but today I myself saw the kindness they show over the loss of a fur baby, something they don’t have to do, but did!

Several people have asked when am I going to post new puppy pics again, well that should be mid June If everything goes well with Miss Chari, she is pregnant to Mike , and I am super excited to see my 1st litter from our Chari, she is a Denzel daughter out of Cami, one of my fav retired ladies! Mike has an impeccable pedigree filled with champions, so we will see-what mid June brings,and as always prayers for Chari are appreciated!!

We just love the Willows! These 2 are just so adorable to listen to them playing, last night they were still playing after we turned out the lights those precious little growls and barks! They will be missed when it’s time for them to leave for there new homes!

We have a nice fall calf in the Ok Dairy Extravaganza show and sale March 29th, the 2nd dam’s back maternal sister was All Canadian 2018 and 2019. She has a show pedigree, long clean neck, deep body, and excellent feet and legs!

Our sweet Char is taking a break from cat patrol, she is so funny she walks very lightly to the living room window , then gently stands on the window sill to see if there any cats out there, if there is, she can set there forever watching them, she won’t move at all as she knows they might run away if they see her!lol

Mr and Miss Willow, both of Gina’s babies were named Willow since one is a girl ,and one is a boy I call them Mr ,and Miss to keep them straight, both are little spitfires! lol They are tiny at 8 wks they weigh 1 lb 5 ozs and 1 lb 8 ozs, so tiny spitfires is what they are!!

Jerry( formerly Wittle Man ) is doing great in his new home in Minnesota, we sure miss seeing that cute face everyday when we wake up, but are so happy they love him like we did! He joins his big brother Jeffrey, which is Teentine’s littermate!

I think these bred heifers are as happy as we are that springs seems to be here! Rich had to move one of the feeders so of course the girls all had to come help spot it to the right location, you never know he might not get it straight , and what better help could he have but a bunch of pretty Jersey heifers! If you’re looking for a bred heifer that can show, we might have one for you!

I couldn’t sleep last night thinking about Thora, Trinity, Tabasco and Juniper; taken from the only homes they’ve ever known, suddenly without their families for the first time. They must be terrified. And the families they left behind, what about them? With Thora being the youngest of the four at only six months old, her mother, Takoda, must be grieving terribly. Takoda and Thora were extremely bonded with Takoda continuing to nurse Thora at least every hour. What must Takoda be thinking now? Is she still looking for her little Thora? When I saw Takoda yesterday she approached my car timidly, perhaps thinking that I might have Thora. It broke my heart to see the look in her eyes, but even though I wanted to, I couldn’t help her.

Many of you may not be aware of this, but Thora is Takoda’s second foal. In August of 2022, Takoda gave birth to her first foal, another adorable Thor lookalike. Sadly that little filly passed away within 24 hours from what looked like a severe hernia. How must poor Takoda feel to lose another baby in less than two years? I’m sure she feels a lot worse than we do. Taking Thora from her mother was the ultimate act of cruelty and completely unnecessary considering Thora was Takoda and Thor’s only living foal. The fact that Thora was still so dependent on her mother just makes this removal all the more deplorable.

To add to our sadness, I believe that two more horses may have been removed from the range yesterday. My friend, Brittny, was on the range yesterday afternoon and alerted me that she saw a horse trailer with two horses in it, followed by what looked like a law enforcement vehicle leaving the area near the east trap. Brittny said that one of the horses in the trailer was crying out, so she didn’t think they were domestic horses. All of Splaash and Tahlequah’s remaining band members were accounted for, so it wasn’t any of them. My husband and I returned to the range to see if we could determine which two might have been taken, but we couldn’t. There are not many horses in that area, so if any horses were taken, it would, most likely, be two of the three young bachelors, Tomahawk, Kentucky or Wakiza. I hope with all my heart that this isn't the case, but I don't know.

As for the photo, this is Takoda with her beloved, Thora, from happier times in September. Little did we know the sorrow we would feel just a few months later. I’m so sorry for everyone’s heartbreak, but especially for the horse’s sorrow because they truly didn’t deserve any of this. They are innocents.
