Here at Bark in Style LLC we understand how hard it can be to lose your 4 legged friend. Though we can't make the loss of your loyal companion easy, we would love to help preserve their memory.
We are now offering a "Rainbow Groom"

If you know your pet is making its way to the Rainbow Bridge we would love to help ease the transition the best we can, not only by offering comfort for your dog, but for yourself as well.
"The Rainbow Groom" will allow us to give your companion the BEST last spa day ever.
This groom would include comforting services that will aid in cleaning your pet up and making them as comfortable as we can. We will also send you with some memorabilia of your dog.

We are so thankful that we get to be apart of your dog's life and we truly love them as if they were our own. Your dog will ALWAYS be apart of the Bark in Style family and we will ALWAYS remember them. ❤️🐶

It’s that time of year again. The Readers Choice Awards are happening again for nominations. We have been nominated for Best Pet Groomer and Best Pet Service (Non Veterinary).
Nominations are from July 30th thru August 10th! You may vote once per category. Voting will take place Sept 10th thru Sept 26th and you are allowed to vote once a day per category. We have already been overwhelmed with so much support this last year with Brooke’s medical journey and would appreciate any support for this award.

UPDATE ON BROOKE ✨
As you all know Brooke's surgery went really well! She is about 6 weeks post op and feeling great! Brooke's pathology did entail good results! They were able to remove the majority of her cancer through surgery leaving just a small amount of cancer cells left! Brooke is now left with Residual Cancer of the breast, meaning there are still cancer cells that remain, however it is a very small amount!

To ensure that all the cancer is gone and to also ensure the lowest chance of reoccurrence Brooke will undergo 16 rounds of Radiation Therapy! Radiation will require Brooke to stay in SLC for the whole duration of her treatment! She will leave the last week of June and return back to work on July 17th if all goes according to plan! Dawn will be operating the salon while this is happening, however we will be closed for one full week! This will be the week of July 1st-5th, as Dawn will be with Brooke for her treatments that week!

Please bare with us as we get through this next step! Once radiation is complete Brooke will have one more surgery! Thank you all for being so patient and understanding! Things will return to normal once Brooke is finished with everything!

Brooke has done an amazing job during surgery and we are on our way home! Both surgeries went great! 3 of Brooke’s lymph nodes in her armpit were tested during surgery and came back clinically negative for cancer Her surgeon also believes they got all the cancer but we won’t know 100% until her pathology comes back next week! She will be heading up the next couple weeks!

Update on Brooke!
Brooke has completed 6/8 rounds of chemo!
She is so close to closing this chapter of her treatment!
Brooke will be given a few weeks to rest after chemo before she gets surgery!
Brooke will need about 6 weeks to fully recover from surgery! We will still be open for grooming during this time, we will just be limited!
She will then follow up with radiation once shes healed from surgery!
We want to thank eveyone for being so understanding and flexible! ❤️🐶

UPDATE ON BROOKE! 🥳
Brooke has officially made it to the halfway point in her chemo treatments! She has just completed round 4 out of 8!

The first initial round of chemo Brooke started is working immaculately! Her tumors have already shrunk majorly! They are no longer prominent and have become very soft, which is exactly what we wanted!

Brooke will be starting a 2nd cycle of a different chemo starting January 23rd! This chemo is much more aggressive and the side affects will be more severe!

This change in chemo has absolutely nothing to do with the progress Brooke has made! It was apart of her original treatment plan! Brooke was diagnosed with Stage 3 Grade 3 breast cancer! Her staging has nothing to do with the change in treatment. However, it does have to do with the grade of her cancer. Grade 3 is a very aggressive cancer!

Brooke's Oncology team would like to treat her cancer as aggressive as possible to ensure there is no chance of reoccurrence! Brooke's age also plays a big factor! She is young so she can handle the aggressive treatment much better now rather than if they waited until she was older!

Please be patient with us as we navigate this new chemo and figure out how Brooke will tolerate it!

We are happy to say Brooke will be cancer free by the end of this year! 🥳🥳
Thank you all for the overwhelming amount of support we've received!

P.S Brooke has lost all of her hair except for her eyebrows! They expect that the second cycle of chemo will cause her to lose those as well!

UPDATE :
We have fantastic news! Brooke received a PET/CT scan on November 7th to determine if her breast cancer has metastasized to any other part of her body, and it HAS NOT spread! 🥳
Brooke with be starting Chemotherapy on Wednesday November 29th!
Brooke will be undergoing 8 rounds of chemotherapy, followed by a double mastectomy, with the possibility of radiation!
We are so grateful for all the love and support Brooke has received during this hard time!
We will keep everyone updated as her chemo continues!

We wanted to ask everyone to be flexible with us for the next couple months. Brooke was diagnosed with breast cancer a couple days ago. We will be traveling to SLC for appointments. We are still seeing clients and we will get everyone taken care of. We just ask if you will work with us till she has this taken care of. Thank you for all of your support we definitely could not do it without you guys.

Summertime is here, and so is the warm weather!
Please keep in mind that the asphalt is much hotter than the air temperature!
Take caution and check the asphalt before taking your fur baby out for a walk!! 🐶☀️
We do make & sell Paw Balm here at the Salon! It mainly aids in healing dry cracked paws, it will also help keep their paw pads moist!
Please keep in mind this will NOT fully protect them from the heat! It will just make them a bit more comfortable! ☺️

A HUGE shoutout and thank you to Elko Car Wash for doing a fantastic and over the top job!
We brought our vehicle down to be detailed for JUST $33! It not only looks brand new but smells brand new as well! We had so much dog hair all over the seats and carpets, they managed to get all of it out! We couldn’t be happier with the experience! They did it in a timely manner, and the staff is wonderful and so friendly! If you are thinking about getting your vehicle detailed, this is the place to go!
We will most definitely be coming back!
