Happy Spring to all our Discovery Dayz Farm Camp Family! We hope you are doing well! We sure do miss the excitement of preparing for another summer of fun with you - and we miss you all terribly.

However, I wanted to introduce you to WEE Farms (https://www.facebook.com/Weefarms) if you don't know about them already! Go check them out! They have some super awesome farm-related camps running this summer - as well as other activities throughout the year!

So, if you're looking to get your kids out on the farm again this summer - you should check them out!

Thank you for all the prayers in behalf of our family and our farm. We were blessed with a full asking price, non-contingent offer over the weekend after a little countering back and forth, the contract offer was signed!!! Closing is set for 10/20!

I am excited for the new family to establish roots and make memories. They are a family that has foster children and have outgrown their current home.

God is an awesome God!

On a another note….

My dog Jola was so good at the “we have a showing” drill that she decided after coming home from being gone for back to back showings that she was just going to stay put in the truck and wait it out until 9:00 just in case we had anymore requests!!

I am beyond grateful to God for answering our prayers, giving us just what we need and putting people in our lives that made this whole process bearable.

P.S- tonight and am going to go to bed and leave my dirty dishes in the sink and not worry about them being there!!!

The showing lasted 1 hour and 45 min…..!! I spoke with the agent after her clients left!!! She said, my clients have never combed over a house inch by inch like they did yours!!! She said it really has all the things they were looking for!
In the meantime, if you get another offer, have your agent call me right away!

They were considering building and are getting a bid on new construction on sept 13, but the agent thinks that for what they want to do, it’s going to be out of their price range to build.

They have four young girls, 2 years old to 10! Kids are sent to a private school.

They like to host a lot of church youth group activities and they commented on how perfect this place would be.

In their new house they were looking to add a mother in law suite in the basement!!!!

Taaadaaah!

Thank you all for the prayers! I am certain they felt the spirit when they were in this home.

Praise God, amen!!

He is in charge, giving it all to HIM!!

We are leaving our house for a 10 o’clock showing… If anybody could stop close your eyes, say a prayer that people who come today will feel the burning in their chest by the Holy Spirit saying this is the place we would greatly appreciate it.

A HUGE thank you to everyone on team Gretz who helped us prepare our home for showing….but words don’t seem to be enough!

I’d offer you eggs…but I have no chickens.
I do however have some homemade canned salsa?!!

To my husband Dave Gretz who never disappoints when it comes to making deadlines. I know your body is suffering the consequences of the last two months, however our home looks amazing and the property is practically flawless, because of your endless commitment to the projects.

My mom Vicky Fiegener and sister Nycole Rutjes dedicated soooooo much time to helping us. My sister can rock a leaf blower, w**d whacker and man can she clean a fridge!!

My mom is detailed oriented and always adds impoernst finishing touches to everything she does. I appreciate her attention to detail, and I know our house will shine above the rest. I hope you enjoy your massages by Kayla Oachs!!! Love you more!

To Grandma Doris Gretz for food prep and ordering meals several nights a week for us so we could have a good meal instead of fridge pizza every night! Thank you, love you more.

To my kids who gave of the time they had between their own busy lives and they still showed up when it matter most. Thank you for being here for us. Means so much. Love you.

To my son, Jackson Gretz and his girlfriend Adri….you two are rockstars!!! Seriously very little complaining and you were present and engaged in the goal! Love you guys!

To all our church family, farm family, Jamee, John and boys, to my BFF Chris Day-Aune….
We couldn’t have made our deadlines without the endless hours of labor you all donated to our family! Thank you so much.

To Fissan Training Kennels in farmnington for boarding our dogs during our first weekend in the market!!!

Dave Gretz is looking for 2 or more able bodied helpers to help with the animal stalls clean out, and cleaning out the chicken coop.

He is starting at 9:00am tomorrow for anyone that could come out at that time or later, I am sure he will be working all day. Any amount of time is helpful.

Update: we should hear back today regarding the offer we put on the Owatonna house.

They were expecting one other offer today. We will be given the opportunity to revise our offer if needed.

In the meantime we have a few scheduled showings set up for our place, including two open house we scheduled if needed.

Hello, Discovery Dayz Campers/Families

With a heavy heart and after much prayer and consideration, we must close Discovery Dayz Farm Camp. With my career change, we knew we wouldn't be able to continue to afford such a place as this that has blessed us and so many youth and children and their families - but we thought we had one more year.

HOWEVER, WE ARE GOING TO RUN CAMP FOR 1 MORE WEEK: 26-30 JUNE!

We currently have 12 slots still available for that week if you are available for one more run!
