It’s been awhile friends but we’re still here. We just have a lot going on at the farm with Labrador Retrievers 🐶, cows 🐄, an engagement 💍 and all the things summertime brings to a farm.

We were awaiting puppies and on the way out the door for church last night they decided to come. Momma finished up a little after Midnight ending with 8 puppies.

We’re excited to let you know our Sire, Zeke and our Dame, Nala have 5 chocolate, 1 black and 2 blonde beautiful healthy puppies. We didn’t bother them to check how many males or females at this time but we’ll update with more pics and a listing of that within the week. For now here is a pic of mom and puppies prior to the 8th one making the debut and the proud papa Zeke.

A lot has been happening here at Salt & Light Kennel and Farm. We know it’s been awhile but our summers been busy with gardening, canning, bottle feeding some beautiful baby calves, and getting prepared for our next litter of pups.

Ever since our son Dalton began dreaming about Salt & Light Kennel and Farm we all came together and knew God was going to use it mightily if we gave it completely to Him. So that’s exactly what we strive to do in everything we do.

📖 Colossians 3:17
Whatever you do in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks through Him to God the Father.

We have some news to share soon on the journey of our sweet blonde boy. We never imagined this would happen, but we can never dream bigger than God. So here’s the pictures of “Waylon’s” growth and him at his new home with his precious, most loving family.

The whole story is coming soon. You’ll want to stay checked into our page to hear and keep checking back for updates of his journey as there will be an entire page on our website created for Waylon…aka “Way”. God is so good!

Hey, Hey, Hey…as you can see a lot has been happening here at Salt & Light Kennel and Farm. We’ve been super busy and our sons kennel has been growing a little too. His main focus is Labrador Retrievers but once a year he does have a liter of full blood blue heelers. Both mom and dad are here on the farm too. They’ve been on our farm working for awhile. Jax is the proud dad + he’s Daltons right hand man, Macy is the proud momma and she is Briella’s sweet girl.

We’ve been busy, busy around the farm. There will be some new pictures coming of our last 2 boy labs. Our chocolate and blonde guys. You won’t believe what all they’ve been up to. Our trainers Dalton and Brad have been working with them daily on different things. They are growing, smart, gorgeous and their demeanor is amazing.

We also have another little liter that’s growing like weeds that we only have about 1 a year of around the farm. They will be 4 weeks old tomorrow. We have full blood blue heelers available. 4 girls and 3 boys are up for grabs. Both parents are on site as well. If you are interested in those or wanting to come pick one out then send us a message. That way you will know which one is yours when they are ready for their loving homes. Pics to come on them as well.

Mother’s Day is on the way! What other way to love on that special momma in your life than to gift her one of these adorable boys.

Labs are the best family pets you can get. They’re amazing with kids, love to be lap dogs when it’s time to wind down, enjoy playing, running, getting exercise, being very loving and are extremely loyal. You cannot go wrong when choosing a Labrador Retriever to add to your family.
