Sadly. This was a beautiful day for a burial
We lost one of our sweet trail horses today
He tried and we tried but he needed to be pain free in horsey heaven
Thank you to marc toothman, our vet and chris lam who graciously came in short notice with proper equipment for the burial.
I sat outside looking at the mountain view for quite awhile afterwards
Had a good cry on the way home...and now it is time to start another day...looking for another horse

We are looking for someone to come and help us from March until December
๐ you could also stay longer if you were advancing in riding skills and interested in training
Your main job will be guiding riding tours with tourists and then of course all the other work that has to be done around the barn
We offer food, room, accommodations in the barn, some salary and advanced riding and training lessons.
Must come with good basic riding skill set.

Beautiful Appaloosa Girl needs to find a new home.
Charm is 15 h and 20 years old and has been a mainstay trail riding horse for us the past 4 years. Very steady and trustworthy. She has had excellent care while she has been with us
She has developed ring bone in her right front foot and she is very comfortable living on bute and walks well on the flat, but can no longer stay comfortable on our steep mountain trails.
She has carried alot of kids for us. Her only vice is she doesn't tie..but she usually stands still when you drop her lead rope. Free to a good retirement home with light riding
