Captain's Quarters for Pets provides boarding and grooming of dogs and cats (and boarding of small an You are welcome to come visit during our office hours.
At Captain's Quarters, we take care of your pets needs whether they need a place to stay while you travel, need care for the day or if they just need a spa day. We offer multi-pet discounts for boarding and offer special discounts for police, fire personnel, emts/paramedics and military (retired or active). We provide beds, blankets, food and fresh water always. We have in-floor radiant hot water
heat on those cold days and air conditioning for those hot days. Each of our guests has their own indoor/covered outdoor spacious run unless family dogs prefer to stay together. We welcome any breed of dog or cat to stay with us. You are welcome to visit at any time our kennel is open and we would love to meet you and your furry kids.
Due to the decline in our owner, Holly's health, we will be closed indefinitely. Thank you to all of our clients for the 33 years of service and for all the recent well wishes for our family. We may decide to open back up in the future, but for now, we need to spend the time we have with her and our family. As a special, mention you saw this post and schedule your pet for a walk or play time during their stay. We will provide an extra walk or play time for each walk/play time paid for. Call or message us to make your reservation and be sure to mention this post to get our holiday special.
I would like to thank all of you who have continued to support us, especially this year while I've been struggling with my health. Unfortunately, the cancer is not gone yet, but I will continue to fight against it. I want to remind everyone that Christmas is almost here and we still have some room available for your furry family member to spend the holidays with us. As always, allergies permitting, our guests will enjoy fresh turkey roasted by myself to celebrate. Your support of our family business helps me continue to fight my battle.
Also reminding everyone that your dog is never crated or placed in a smaller pen. They always enjoy an inside pen that is 4 feet by 6 feet connected to an outdoor pen 4 feet by 16 feet, which are larger than many other facilities in the area.
We will be closed tomorrow as we remember all those in uniform who made the ultimate sacrifice protecting our country. We wish you a memorable Memorial day.

Are you a Rottweiler lover looking for a young boy to be part of your family? Naz is the boy for you. He is approximately 1 1/2 years old and still all puppy. He will need to have some training to learn his manners since he is about 100 lbs. He also requires a slow feeder as he tends to eat very fast otherwise. He is sure to give you plenty of love though and only found himself here because his owner did not come back for him. He loves to run around and would love a big yard he could call his own. He also seems to get along with other dogs.
Forty is a love bug and ready to find a family or person to call his own. He does get along with other dogs as long as they aren't aggressive. He found himself here when his owner was not able to take him home. While he is a happy boy, life in a kennel is just not for him and he needs room to move and despite his size, he thinks he would be a great lap dog. Forty is not a chewer, but would love someone who has a big yard he can play in or nice long walks. Do you know someone who wants to give this sweet boy a home?
This is Bentley. He found himself here through no fault of his own having been left in a crate with his friend, Millie. He turned 2 years old in November and he is a love bug. He loves to snuggle, eat, treats, and long walks. He is not reactive to other dogs, gets along well with Millie but would probably be happy with another female dog as well. Bentley would love to find a person or family to give him all the love he deserves. He has also been around young children.
Millie is a sweet girl looking for someone to love. She would love to be part of your family and has been around young children. In June, she will be 2 years old. Her favorite things are eating, treats, long walks and someone that will let her snuggle. She does get alone with Bently, as they were left in our driveway in a crate together, but not sure how she would be with other dogs or cats.
Sorry for the poor quality picture but this sweet Rottweiler is a young, active boy. He came to stay with us and his owner never picked him up. He would be best in a home with older children. He is sweet and loves all people.
This sweet boy has found himself here with us after his owner did not pick him up. He is young and energetic. He might be good with a female dog. He would do best in a home with older children just because of his energy level.
This is Bentley. He is a 2 year old pit bull, probably about 50 to 55 lbs. He is a gentle boy. He was left in a crate with his friend Millie. He loves being around people. We are looking for a home for him either with Millie or by himself.
This is Millie. She is 1 and 1/2 years old. She, along with another dog were left in a crate in our driveway. She is looking for a home. She is a sweet, energetic pit bull. Millie is a small girl, maybe 45 lbs at most and she does need to be spayed.

Just a reminder of our holiday hours. We will be open on Christmas eve from 9 am to noon. We will be closed on Chridtmas day and reopen on Monday, 12/26 from 9 to 11 am and 4 to 6 pm.

We have some sweet dogs here that have found themselves living here through no fault of their own. I will add pictures later but wanted to give you a description of them. It would be great for all of them to find a new forever home.
First there is Supreme. She is about 3 to 4 years of age and is a red pit bull. She doesn't seem fond of cats and is a little iffy with other dogs. She does like children but would probably enjoy a home with older kids as she is active and might be a little too much for small children.
Next is Millie. She is an active faun pit bull who was left here at the kennel in a crate with another pit bull. We do know she is a year and a half old. She is a little fiesty with other dogs while in her run but may be okay outside of the run. She is friendly and we believe she lived with young children.
Bently is a laid back, black pit bull. He arrived with Millie in a crate in our driveway. He is friendly and loves things he can chew. He is turning 2 years old next week. We believe he also was raised with small children. We don't know if he likes cats.
We also have a young male rottweiler who needs a home. He is a strong boy who will need obedience training. He is friendly but probably would not do well with cats.
