Not showing alot of enthusiasm here, but should have seen the smile after he walked out of the sale ring. We have phenomenal buyers and youth support in this valley. We are beyond blessed at the Kittitas County Fair.

Grandparents started J Cross in Dimmitt Texas with a herd of Herefords, which has carried on to present day with JCross Mini Herefords and now shared with the 4th generation....JCross Heritage Farms belongs to my sons family, here's to many more years.

A little farm that raises livestock for 4H and donation to local food banks.

Not just for girls....

Be THAT girl.

Be that girl who cares more about how she treats people than how she does at the stock show.

Be that girl who gives her heifer, goat, lamb, hog, a pat on the neck after a bad run instead of snatching the lead.

Be that girl who wants to see her friends succeed just as much as she wants to succeed.

Be that girl who smiles at everyone in the barns instead of smiling at just the people she knows.

The stock show world is full of people who are jealous, ungrateful and rude. It’s our job as competitors to bring positivity to this sport we all love. We are called as followers of the Lord to speak life and give grace to those around us. Let’s make this industry the best it can be and focus more on being THAT girl.

Retro Houston

Houston restaurateur Bill Williams poses with the champion steer for which he paid a then world record price of $20,500.00 ( -- that's over a $170,000 in today's dollars--) at the 1964 Houston Livestock and Rodeo.

At the time, Williams operated two popular eateries in Houston: Bill Williams Restaurant & Oyster Bar, 6515 South Main St. and the Bill Williams Mac Gregor House at the intersection of OST & South Park Blvd.
