Time for some end of summer fun, we're hosting a scavenger hunt!
Take a picture of one of our stickers or T-shirts with the QR code on it and post it on your story with where you found us. Make sure to tag us so we don't miss it.
You can post multiple times as long as they are different locations.
We will choose 5 winners to get a little goodie bag and 1 winner will win a free nail trim or $10 off their next appointment!

The only exception is using the stickers at our physical location 301 N Pearl, everywhere else is fair game!

August is National Dog month, and August 1st is the official Shelter Dogs of America shared birthday!

In 2008 the North Shore Animal League of America decided to dedicate a day to the shelter dogs who don't know their birthdays.

What better way to celebrate the dogs in your life than by giving back! From August 1st-10th we are offering a discount to those who donate to an animal rescue/shelter/non-profit of your choosing.
For every $5 you give you get $1 off your next appointment (up to $15). Donations can be in any form, as long as you can provide proof of cost and delivery (cash/check, food, medical needs, toys, etc.) .
We'll even count volunteer hours as well!

Please use this post to post pictures of your shelter rescue dogs on their birthday, or just enjoying life!

I’ve had a few phone calls recently that I will always dread receiving. A few of my regular clients have crossed the bridge and their owners called to let me know. I just want to say to every one that has ever called me, and unfortunately all the ones who will in the future, thank you.
Thank you for sharing your family with me, thank you for sharing their stories, thank you for trusting me to take as great of care of them as you do, thank you for learning and growing with me, and especially thank you for knowing I’d want to mourn them too.
This job never has an “easy” day and one of the hardest parts of working with animals is knowing their lifespan isn’t as long as my career will be.
I won’t share any personal information about my clients but, if you are one and want to share a photo/video/story of your remembered family then I’d love the opportunity to see their faces again.

Do you have a plan for your animals this fire season? With temperatures in the 100s and fires already flaring up, you need to be prepared! At the ranch we have a group ready to help evacuate and friends at the ready to take 17 animals (or more) in the event we are threatened by wildfire. If we can figure that out, so can you! Everyone should have a plan in case something happens to have someone to care for their furry friends … not just in a fire but other emergencies. Our hope is you never use it, but your animals will be grateful if you have to. ❤️
