We want to inform our clients that Save This Life Microchips, a company we and many veterinary hospitals have used for the past 10 years, has suddenly ceased operations without notice. This has created a critical issue for pet owners, as their database is no longer linked to national registries.

🚨 What This Means for You
If your pet is microchipped with Save This Life, shelters and veterinary hospitals can no longer access your contact information in case your pet becomes lost.

✅ What You Need to Do
To ensure your pet’s microchip remains a reliable tool for reuniting lost pets, we strongly recommend transferring its registration to another trusted registry as soon as possible.

UPDATE: BOLO cancelled. Suspects identified.

BOLO: Dog Abandonment
Animal Control Case Number: A24.009434

On 12/31/24 at approximately 7:40 PM, a white Toyota SUV with two unknown males pulled into the parking lot of Animal Control on Hampton Rd in McDonough. The males then pulled a dog in a crate from the rear of the vehicle, leaving the dog outside. Suspect 1 was wearing a red or burgundy hoodie with the hood over his head, light-colored jeans and Crocs. Suspect 2 was wearing a black long-sleeve shirt with blue jeans, white/blue mask, black head wrap and black shoes.

We want to introduce you to this gorgeous boy Kerry (Kerrawin) who is looking for his forever and ever home.
Kerry is 10 years old (past the crazy puppy years) neutered and up to date on all vaccinations. He is currently staying with a foster family but is available for a Meet and Greet anywhere in metro Atlanta.
