Happy Vet Tech appreciation week!
These hard working group of people go above and beyond daily. We are so appreciative and proud of the hard work EACH person does daily at Fairview Animal Hospital, from the front door through to the back. You guys rock!!

Sallie Mae will LOVE you til the end of time....
or at least until her dinner bowl arrives.
Sallie Mae, a sweet girl who is very well behaved, is looking for her forever home!

Sallie loves people, treats, and belly rubs (in no particular order!).
She is a petite shepherd mix around 40 pounds, spayed and up to date on all of her vaccinations.

Sallie gets along with other dogs but will need proper introductions. She is not a fan of cats so a home with no cats is ideal.

Dear FAHmily,
Due to a recent surge in upper respiratory infections in our area, we will be temporarily suspending our boarding, daycare, and bath services for the next two weeks. This decision has been made to prioritize the health and safety of all pets in our care.

We will resume our regular kennel scheduling on September 9.

Dear FAHmily,
We have some very exciting news!!
We are adding to the FAHmily.
Introducing Dr. Chandler Watson!

Dr. Watson graduated cm laude in 2019 from the University of Georgia (UGA) with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Animal Science. In 2024, he became a “Double Dawg” by graduating summa cm laude from UGA’s College of Veterinary Medicine receiving his DVM Degree with a small animal emphasis. Dr. Watson is also a member of the Phi Zeta Honor Society of Veterinary Medicine.

Dr. Watson’s love for animals started at an early age growing up with an array of different family pets...from dogs, hamsters, fish, and reptiles. He chose the field of Veterinary Medicine not only because of his love for animals, but his desire to contribute to medical advancement and alleviate animal suffering. His professional interests include soft tissue surgery, dentistry, wound care, and pain management.

Dr. Watson is originally from North Carolina but lived in Kennesaw, Georgia, for nearly 16 years and currently lives in the Atlanta area. In his spare time Dr. Watson loves spending time outdoors especially hiking and bass fishing. He is also an avid sports fan and can be found most weekends at various sporting events “calling the Dawgs.”

This little one needs a home! We have spayed her, vaccinated her and treated her for heartworms through the generosity of Halo House, our clients and staff! She is a sweet girl and just wants a permanent home. Look at buttsmutts.com for an application. She also has 6 months of food to go with her!

Fireworks are approaching, so call or text today to request calming meds for your beloved pets. Please do not wait until July 3rd. 😁
Friendly reminders as well, make sure your pets microchip registration is current!
If its too hot for you to be outside, its too hot for your pets to be outside. Keep clean and fresh water available at all times.
Human food can be upsetting to our pet's tummies, please try and refrain from giving them the BBQ chicken and ribs, as delicious as they may be. Instead try green beans, carrots and watermelon.
