We want to inform our clients that Save This Life Microchips, a company we and many veterinary hospitals have used for the past 10 years, has suddenly ceased operations without notice. This has created a critical issue for pet owners, as their database is no longer linked to national registries.
🚨 What This Means for You
If your pet is microchipped with Save This Life, shelters and veterinary hospitals can no longer access your contact information in case your pet becomes lost.
✅ What You Need to Do
To ensure your pet’s microchip remains a reliable tool for reuniting lost pets, we strongly recommend transferring its registration to another trusted registry as soon as possible.
🔹 A Few Recommended Microchip Registries:
Free Pet Chip Registry (no registration fee required): freepetchipregistry.com
· PetLink/DataMars (registration fee required): www.petlink.net
· HomeAgain (registration fee required): www.homeagain.com
· AKC Reunite (registration fee required): www.akcreunite.org
