💉✂️ Today was GELDING DAY!!! ✂️💉

We were supposed to have six boys done today… but Little Memphis will have to wait until at least spring! His little nuggets were so itty bitty you can’t even feel them yet 😂

That said — the other five boys are officially gelded! 🎉🙌

A HUGE thank you to Jan, Melissa, Savannah, Lisette, Piper, Beth, and Mara for all your hard work today. There’s no way on God’s beautiful earth I could have done it without you! ❤️

Everything went super well! Dr. Kelly is absolutely amazing — in every possible way. We also had a UGA vet student come out to assist and learn, and the way Dr. Kelly guided her with such patience and kindness was incredible to watch.

Ridge and River Veterinary Services, LLC is more than just a name — it’s a standard of compassion and excellence. Their care for every life they touch is truly priceless. 🐴💚

Calling all donkey and pony lovers! WE NEED WALKERS THIS COMING WEEK STARTING SUNDAY!!

We have 6 of our boys getting gelded, YES 6 and they need to be walked 2 times per day and cold hosed.

Walking shifts are any time between 11-1 and 4-5.

The likelihood of the bear that killed our goats being caught is heartbreakingly slim… so we have to take action. We must build a safe, secure barn to protect our goats and sheep — and every life that depends on us.

Losing those sweet rescues was devastating. It made me feel like I failed them, and I can’t feel that again. We owe it to them — and to every future life that will come through our gates — to make sure this never happens again. 💔

This breaks my heart. Our terrain isn’t good here for her right now and would be terrible for her. We are also out of quarantine areas right now 😭.

Shes in excruciating pain. I’d outbid those people if I had somewhere for her to go. She needs so much care and love and this breaks my heart.

To the human let her get this bad and then shipped her off, theres a special place way down below for you …

We NEED to meet the minimum weekly goal 🙏 .

I haven’t raised the weekly amount since getting the 9 new equine. 5 of them are already adopted and their new families are paying for their care and feed until they are ready to go. Hope is under our care but her hay has been covered until December and of course we are keeping Sawyer and that’s an addt expense as well as the 2 chocolate minis. $600 shouldn’t be this hard 😭.
