New cutie on the block - Lila💛. She was an owner surrender so she’s very scared in the shelter now. It’s a total shock to the system going from a home to a concrete cage🥺. Bo was one of the biggest & sweetest dogs to enter the shelter back in 2022. A true gentle giant. Mom Hilja says he’s such a Mama’s Boy, sticking by her side or even in her lap. Bo is great with the grandchildren and he & fur-sibling Kaitsja love to roughhouse in the yard. They’re also loving this colder weather! Hilja says Bo is 125 lbs of Anatolian Shepherd joy😍 Great to see you loving life, Bo!💙

As you can see, Ruth likes to snuggle just as much as she likes to walk! Easy on a leash, this girl is so much fun to spend time with! They were all once strays or were abandoned or surrendered. They were all given another chance at a happy life full of love. And they are definitely loving it! Joe got a break from the shelter and a fun day out with volunteers Tania & Keith. This boy is so much fun with his happy, curious personality. Tania said he was the star of the show when they met a group of hikers along their way. Joe loves meeting people & plays well with certain dogs. Valkyrie: Our little warrior🩷💪
Valkyrie came to us in a very fragile condition. She was extremely malnourished and had a skin condition. Through collaboration among shelter staff and our volunteers, Valkyrie has improved SO much!! She has gained weight, got her energy back, and loves to play and take treats!
Valkyrie is continuing to grow stronger in her foster home, but we are ready to take applications for her forever family! This sweet girl has been through too much in her 7 years of life, and we hope to make the rest her BEST years! 💕 Please contact us to meet Valkyrie!

A homeless mom & her 3 puppies were found back in October. A shelter is no place for a nursing mother so one of our volunteers graciously took them all in as fosters & named the mom, Hope. Hope was so grateful to be given a safe space for her babies & she became the sweetest puppy mama ever. She took care of them with love & patience and now they have all been adopted! They are safe & loved and Hope knows it’s now her turn! This 6 year old sweetheart is playful & friendly with other dogs. She’s still in her temporary foster home so she’ll easily transition to a permanent one. She will be so happy & again grateful to finally have her own family & home. Zelda (f/k/a Charity) was adopted before Christmas and is settling in great at home. Mom Aimee says she has started to feel comfortable exploring the back yard - as long as big brother Ziggy is close by🥰. Looks like he provides a great sense of security for a young pup & we can’t wait to see her grow up as a happy & beloved family member! 🐶💛
Aria has been in the shelter since August. She’s approximately 2 yrs old & under 50lbs. She’s intelligent & aims to please. She’s incredibly social, loves to play & easy on a leash. She’s has the softest, prettiest brindle coat. What are the cons? We haven’t found any! This girl is great. Great age, size, temperament & looks!
