DEC is thrilled to congratulate KG equestrian on the purchase of their own farm! We have loved having Kate and her clients here at our farm and are excited for this new opportunity for them.
With this departure we now have the availability to welcome new clientele to our barn family as of February 2025!

DeCarli Equestrian Center is a beautiful equestrian facility located in northern Connecticut. We offer large well-maintained rings, an expanding cross country course, trails, acres of fields to hack through, and fantastic turnout options paired with top-tier customizable care for you and your horse. Catering to all disciplines and levels of riders, we want to welcome you to our professional, inclusive, and family oriented facility. We happily invite outside trainers or can pair you with an in-house program for hunter jumpers, dressage, eventing, versatility, young horse development, ground work, and rehabs. DEC also loves to support and encourage pleasure riders and retirees.
An overview of amenities include:
•12x12 fully matted and well bedded stalls
•Barns attached to indoor featuring great ventilation and fully matted aisles
•Bright and airy 140x140 indoor ring
•200x150 sand outdoor ring with an attached grass derby options
•Hunt field and large grass dressage ring
•Cross country course with new elements added yearly
•Groomed trails
•60x60 round pen
•Large individual or small group turnouts with great drainage
•“All you can eat” quality farm grown 1st and 2nd cut hay
•Feedings provided 3-4x daily with additional available upon request
•Heated bathrooms and viewing room
•Large individual tack lockers and storage for tack trunks
•Trailer storage
•Indoor and outdoor wash stalls with hot/cold water

Thank you to all of those who attended our clinic with Jerry Schurink this past Sunday. It was a fun day filled with awesome rides and we have loved receiving everyone’s positive feedback!
📣This makes us very excited to announce that DEC will now have Jerry returning on a monthly basis for clinics! 📣
His next two clinic dates are December 15th and January 18th.

Horses here at DEC get to enjoy large individual or small group turnout but in the case that your horse needs to stay in a smaller space we now have 3 newly built med pens! We can offer your horse a 15x15, 20x20, or 30x30 well built med pen so that they can stay safe and happy in any circumstance. Our goal is to always ensure the best care for your best friend.

Individual stalls or opportunity to rent private 5 stall barn. Barn features oversized stalls- 2 with large windows and 3 with back paddocks. Feed room and tack room with plenty of space for storage. Outdoor wash stall or take a short walk to the indoor for use of indoor wash stall. Large grass turnouts.

Are you looking for a great 4 season barn for your horse to call home? DEC has your horse covered in any weather! Horses at DEC stay cool and comfortable despite the heat with our abundance of fans and great circulation. Each horse is allowed up to two stall fans while our barns boast ceiling fans and large exhaust fans. We currently have one stall available. Please PM or call Daryl at (860)878-9274 to set up a tour. We have many great amenities for you and your horse to enjoy.

Kole wants to remind everyone to look past this heat wave to a beautiful 85 degree day this Sunday the 23rd and for DEC’s Summer Versatility Bash! This is a last call to get your entries in to come enjoy a large creative course suitable to all horse and riders! $20 horse/rider truck in fee. Course walk available at 11. Rides start by 12.
