We want to give a big congratulations to Chrissy and her horse Dunny on their amazing 2024 accomplishments! They were CDCTA 2024 Elementary Champion and T.I.P.S. Combined Training Best Low Score.
We love having Chrissy and Dunny with us here at DEC. They are such a big part of our barn family and have been with us since 2018!

DEC is hiring highly experienced horse handlers for weekend PM shifts. Duties include turn in, wellness checks, blanketing, feeding, and watering.
Must have experience handling wide range of horses.

Teannah looking pretty in pink while enjoying some afternoon sunshine today!
We are so fortunate to have incredible staff that are able to rearrange the days schedule during extreme weather allowing horses to be out in sun for the warmest hours of the day. Thank you DEC staff for the fantastic care you provide for our horses!

Teannah and her owner Cheryl have been with us for 4 years. Teannah is a staple of the farm greeting everyone at the first pasture as you drive in. We love having them as part of the DEC family and look forward to many more years enjoying each other’s company!

Mystic is happy and cozy inside with fresh water and all the hay you can eat during this cold snap. We hope everyone is staying safe and warm today and tomorrow in these frigid temps.

DEC is thrilled to congratulate KG equestrian on the purchase of their own farm! We have loved having Kate and her clients here at our farm and are excited for this new opportunity for them.
With this departure we now have the availability to welcome new clientele to our barn family as of February 2025!

DeCarli Equestrian Center is a beautiful equestrian facility located in northern Connecticut. We offer large well-maintained rings, an expanding cross country course, trails, acres of fields to hack through, and fantastic turnout options paired with top-tier customizable care for you and your horse. Catering to all disciplines and levels of riders, we want to welcome you to our professional, inclusive, and family oriented facility. We happily invite outside trainers or can pair you with an in-house program for hunter jumpers, dressage, eventing, versatility, young horse development, ground work, and rehabs. DEC also loves to support and encourage pleasure riders and retirees.

•12x12 fully matted and well bedded stalls
•Barns attached to indoor featuring great ventilation and fully matted aisles
•Bright and airy 140x140 indoor ring
•200x150 sand outdoor ring with an attached grass derby options
•Hunt field and large grass dressage ring
•Cross country course with new elements added yearly
•Groomed trails
•60x60 round pen
•Large individual or small group turnouts with great drainage
•“All you can eat” quality farm grown 1st and 2nd cut hay

Thank you to all of those who attended our clinic with Jerry Schurink this past Sunday. It was a fun day filled with awesome rides and we have loved receiving everyone’s positive feedback!
📣This makes us very excited to announce that DEC will now have Jerry returning on a monthly basis for clinics! 📣
His next two clinic dates are December 15th and January 18th.

Are you looking for a great 4 season barn for your horse to call home? DEC has your horse covered in any weather! Horses at DEC stay cool and comfortable despite the heat with our abundance of fans and great circulation. Each horse is allowed up to two stall fans while our barns boast ceiling fans and large exhaust fans. We currently have one stall available. Please PM or call Daryl at (860)878-9274 to set up a tour.
