One of the worst ways to spend the holidays would be at the emergency vet dealing with a stomach upset or worse. For this reason, we encourage you to do the following as you celebrate the holidays!

- Feed pets their food and limit table scraps
- Talk to your friends and family about preventing your pet's accidental ingestion of toxins, heavy foods, and sweets
- Prevent begging at the table by setting your pets up with a species-appropriate treat during celebrations
- Keep an eye on your pet during gatherings so ensure they aren't helping themselves to potentially harmful ingredients
- Mind your trash because you may find it unappealing but your friend may see a delightfully delicious treat
