Surveys show that most cats are not receiving regular veterinary care! Many cat owners give two reasons for not bringing their kitties to the vet: their cat doesn’t like going, and their cat doesn’t appear sick.

The problem is that, by the time a cat is displaying symptoms, they are often extremely ill or even terminally sick. Please don’t let your cat miss their regular exams! Schedule that check-up and assure your feline friend is truly health.

Don’t stop your pet’s flea and tick preventives just because the outdoor temperatures are starting to drop - fleas and ticks are still active throughout the fall!

Fleas and ticks are more than mere nuisances. They cause distress in dogs and cats and, more important, they cause disease. On-again, off-again preventive programs are not the optimal way to safeguard the health of pets and their families.

Help your pooch beat the heat this summer with some safe, tasty, and cooling foods! Watermelon, cucumber, turkey, and beef are all great – but avoid meats that cause internal heating, such as chicken.

Just keep in mind that, while these snacks can help your dog keep cooler in hot weather, you should avoid sudden drastic changes to their diet! Introduce new foods slowly and monitor for any changes in their behavior or health, and speak to your vet about any concerns.
