Breaking Down Body Language Answer!
Did Luna want belly rubs?
Answer: NO!
Just because a dog’s belly is exposed doesn’t always mean they want belly rubs. In Luna’s case, her body language is telling us the opposite!
In the video, Luna shows several clear signs of discomfort:
▪ Whale eye – Her eyes are wide with visible whites, a sign of unease.
▪ Lip licks – A subtle stress signal dogs use when they’re uncomfortable.
▪ Paws tucked in, guarding her chest – A protective posture rather than an open invitation.
▪ Avoiding eye contact – She’s not seeking engagement; she’s trying to create space.
When we put these signals together, Luna is clearly saying, “No, I don’t want to be touched right now.” Understanding these cues helps us respect our dogs' comfort levels and build trust.

Does your dog LOVE to shred things around the house? 🐾 Instead of getting frustrated, give them an outlet that’s fun, safe, and totally appropriate!
Shredding enrichment activities, like this treat-filled paper bag game, satisfy your dog’s natural instinct to "dissect and consume." Plus, you can even put it on cue—try saying "shred it!" to let them know it’s playtime.
Appropriate shredding options include:
🛍️ Paper bags from the store
📰 Old newspapers
📦 Cardboard boxes (just make sure they’re safe and free of tape or staples).
This simple game helps channel their energy, reduces unwanted shredding, and leaves your dog happy and fulfilled. 🐕💖

Does your dog get nervous when people walk into the room? Fletcher used to bark every time someone entered, but we’re working on turning that around.
By giving Fletcher something predictable to focus on—like hearing “Okay, I’m coming in” followed by treats—we’re helping him associate people entering the room with something positive and safe.
In this reel, you’ll see how we’re building his confidence, first with me and then with someone else. Consistency is key to helping dogs feel more relaxed in situations that make them uneasy.
