1 Year old Brody is a new arrival from the Mount Vernon shelter. He is in search of a forever home.

This beautiful young male husky weighs 52 pounds and is a real sweet guy. He enjoys playing with toys and playing in the outdoor pens. If you are interested in meeting Brody, please fill out an application and call the shelter for more info!

Again & again. Lonely, terrified 13 yr old family pup just lost his family, his home, the life he knew. In the blink of an eye his world has been taken away from him & he probably would rather have ended his life at that moment. Because for him, his life is over. Except it’s worse, what remains is a devastating emptiness, a barren kennel, & a world of strangers & fear.

Please help us help him. Please be the one that has just enough space in your home, sadness in your heart, & love in your spirit to free this pup from his misery. We’ll be with you every step of the way & you’ll be our hero & his angel ❤️

After plenty of exercise outside with owners, now able to focus and respond to cues even with distractions!

An example of a 9 mo old pup without enough exercise, unable to focus or respond to owners cues, totally distracted! Next video notice the difference after exercise in the backyard with owners……

This is the result of time and effort by a very devoted volunteer and a very agile and enthusiastic young dog at the Humane Society of Westchester in New Rochelle!! Btw Bailey is available for adoption!
