Butternut was a very, very shy fellow! He had a few volunteers he loved and trusted but was so wary of new people! In the recent month however, he developed a more confident manner. It was almost like he knew his family was so close. And they were … a few visits to the rescue .. a few days of fostering … and there was no turning back! The whole thing was smooth as Butta! 😍

Our handsome hound, WINDSOR, wanted to show off some pictures of the fabulous time he had going to one of his favorite people’s house for a visit. Liz and her husband treated Windsor like a king and gave him a full day of park romping, river swimming, spa treatments and tremendous amounts of true love and special snuggles! 💕
We also wanted to show how far this fellow has come since arriving at PCAR. Windsor had a lousy start at life, and it showed all over his body. Beyond the visible skin and bones, and nicks and scars all over this little body, Windsor also was heart worm positive. Despite all of this, this boy showed nothing but pure love, love love! Fast forward … and like he says “Just look at me now”! Heart worm negative, plumped up and ever so ready to find his forever home! 🌟
