Friends, this precious baby girl is in a rural shelter, and she’s so terrified of storms that whenever they happen she injures herself trying to get away from them in her concrete kennel. She desperately needs a foster home. Please help her out. We will supply anything needed, as well as vet care. Her name is Eva Bean.

Our Valentine is Petey!

This baby showed up in rural Louisiana, likely dumped, with a badly broken elbow. The house he came to wanted to help him but had two dogs who don’t like other dogs! This was right before sneauxmageddon, so we knew we had to act quickly. Temps were dropping and he had a kennel on the porch with a heat lamp but it wasn’t going to be enough.

We had a fabulous foster family step up to foster, and were able to get him to safety. Then to decide whether to amputate his badly broken leg or have a surgery that would cost 4x that to fix the break. We wanted this sweet angel to keep all four limbs, but we need help with that bill!

Ace's owner is trying to rehome him instead of surrendering him to an animal shelter.

About ACE per the owner: 5 years old, a purebred German Shepherd, and weighs about 95 pounds. He has been to obedience training, he knows how to sit, heel, and "give five". He loves a good game of fetch!! Ace is dog-friendly but prefers his space and human companionship. All around he is a good boy.

Soooo, last weekend our little beagle/rat terrier mix puppies were completely overshadowed by the panda puppies at the adoption event. CAN YOU BELIEVE THAT?

They might not be as fluffy but that means less fur in your house! These babies will give you just as much love, and they seem like they are likely to be small to medium sized, as they are 10 weeks old now, and still pretty little.

It’s been a long road for him, it took months before he would really lift up his head. He tried to escape constantly. THIS MORNING HE PLAYED WITH US! Look at this play bow!! It’s a great day. Scrim was caught, a donor helped us with a big medication bill, and Ezra plays now!

He still needs a home. He loves other dogs. Thanks to your donations he is fixed, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, has started a soft kill program for his heartworms.

Our sweet girl Pepper who we adopted out five years ago has found herself homeless again, her mom passed away.

She is now around 8 years old. She prefers to be the only dog, and is ok with cats.

This sweet old girl is Sadie. Her owner had dementia and was no longer able to care for her. She was chained in the yard for years but broke out!

She is a petite 10-year-old grey and white pittie who loves snuggles, treats, walks, playing fetch, and relaxing. She’s great with other dogs and absolutely loves people.

We’ve taken her out on adventures like trips to the park and stores, and she does wonderfully.

Sadie does have some skin issues that are being treated with medicated shampoo, eye cream, and other medications as needed. She also receives Cytopoint injections at our partner vet next door, and her finder continues to cover her medical costs. She is spayed and UTD on everything.

Jasper is a funny guy. He has this “deer in the headlights” look that makes you think he’s seen a ghost, when in reality he’s just living the fear that you might not want to snuggle him.
