She has found her home!

This sweet girl Ruby is looking for a new home.

Ruby is 2 years old, spayed, ABCA registered female.

Do to no fault of her own her current family is looking to re🏠 her. They reached out to me to help as I raised ruby her parents are Pursey x Rip

Her mom says “ Ruby is very affectionate, loves to be petted and hugged. Goes on a leash very well. Listens if she has a training collar on. Still working on that. Never been around cats. Great with other dogs. Not scared of stock. Hasnt been started on stock but has chased them out of the yard. Up to date on all shots Up to date on wormer and tick and flea. Quiet in her kennel in house if freezing weather outside. Doesnt bark inside the house. Will bark when rabbits, deer, coyotes come around and when people come.”

Dolly is due in 3 weeks😁😁😁 she is bred to Festus which is a Snoopy x Pursey pup … I can not wait for this cross both parents are ABCA registered…work cows and are wonderful family dogs… Festus reminds me so much of his dad snoopy!

Edna is a black and white female ABCA registered border collie out of working parents! She into to date on her shots and wormer. Almost 14 weeks olds. Edna is a very in your pocket dog she loves to go with me every where. She enjoys watching the sheep and goat. Loves to play tug with her toys and herd the cats around the ranch. We are working on basic commands and building confidence around livestock. Both parents are DNA clear through optimal selection!

4 weeks old today! Sit is so natural for these kids which I love! They love to bite at you pant legs, and rough house with each other. They found mom’s food and think it’s pretty great! Took them to see the sheep today and they thought that was pretty cool will post videos later but these kids are going to be awesome stock dogs I just love how the natural instinct is so strong!

Week 3 with these babes has been so fun they got to go out side to their big kennel where they get to experience lots more sounds and weather the first day they where out it thunder stormed. There litter personalities are really starting to show! I can’t express in words how existential am for this litter! Both parents are phenomenal working dogs but also such great family dogs! Moving on from my foundation dogs has not been easy but this litter is the future and the future is bright here at Shoemaker Border Collies. Puppies are due the 23rd not only are we expecting color from this litter but we are expecting exceptional working dogs as both of these dogs have an incredible desire to work livestock.

We would love to hear every one’s predictions on how many and what color.

Our new sire is Shoemaker Border Collies Hank
This boy was born and raised here on the ranch he goes back to Chili on his moms side. Hank is clear through optimal selection. Hank is my go too these days he’s personally it so cool he is a lover when at the house and all business when working cows! He has the coolest walk up and the way he uses different pressure to move the cows is so fun to top it off he has no problem standing in there when one decides to turn back on him! Hank has produced 1 litter all ready and the pups from that cross are already working cows at 12 weeks!
