As we approach the New Year, we wanted to share a video of our newest litter of puppies. We are always in need of Puppy Raisers to foster pups for our program. This Christmas, we pause with gratitude and hope.
At Service Peace Warriors, we are honored to serve those who have served our communities and our country. Providing free service dogs to veterans and first responders is more than our mission; it’s our way of saying thank you for the sacrifices made.

During this holiday season, we celebrate the powerful bonds formed between our service dogs and their handlers—bonds that bring peace, independence, and renewed strength. We are deeply grateful to our volunteers, trainers, and donors who make this life-changing work a reality for so many.

This marks the third year of support from Gesa Local Heroes, and every year your gift helps us give back to those who served our communities and country.

Looking ahead to 2026, our goal is to place 15 additional service dogs with Veterans and First Responders. Your contributions help cover essential costs like veterinary care, training equipment, treats, and food for these incredible dogs.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Joe D. Shelton Memorial Award for their incredible generosity, which makes a meaningful impact in our community. Thanks to the support provided by the Joe D. Shelton Award this year, Service Peace Warriors can keep delivering life-changing service dogs to Veterans and First Responders living with service-connected PTSD.

By the end of 2025, we proudly have placed 102 service dogs in 10 years with Veterans and First Responders who need them most. This achievement would not have been possible without the support of individuals, organizations, clubs, and foundations. Each service dog represents far more than companionship—it is a lifeline that restores independence, confidence, and hope.

Looking ahead to 2026, our goal is to place 15 additional service dogs with those who have served our country and communities. The Joe D. Shelton Award will help cover essential costs such as food and treats for these remarkable dogs during their training. Your generosity ensures that these heroes receive the support that truly transforms lives.

I will be honest with you, I never liked giving money to organizations. I didn’t know where it was gonna go. So I would think of other ways. My goal for 2026 is to place 15 fully trained service dogs with veterans. We all know times are tough, but our veterans are still fighting our wars in their heads. It’s called PTSD. You don’t have to give money, there are so many other ways to give. Raise a puppy for 12 months, we love, donations of food, collars, toys, treats, laundry soap, blankets, dog beds, sometimes even the kitchen sink. We are thankful to our community for any help. On this day, we find ourselves struggling to find the right words to truly express our gratitude and respect for those who have served our country. Whether during times of peace or in the face of war, you chose to be part of something greater than yourself, knowing the sacrifice that choice would require.

Nothing we can say will ever be enough to convey the depth of our appreciation. However, please know that your courage, strength, and selflessness do not go unnoticed. Today and every day, we honor you and thank you for all that you’ve given.
