Service Peace Warriors Service dogs for Veterans with PTSD and related disabilities.

After learning that twenty two American Veterans kill themselves each day here on American soil, we made a goal of putting as many (Teams Veteran and a Service Dog} together each year. We are committed to doing our part to change the lives of American Veterans who have come home in need of our support.

Saving lives with four paws and now being able to offer teaching our veterans CPR and first aid to their service dogs. 10 years ago, 3 of us started a Non-profit to help our veterans with PTSD and other disabilities. We with new team leaders keep working towards improving our program. That’s what we are about, we love what we do!

Disabled Veterans National Foundation - DVNF Thank you for supporting us with the grant, we have been able to provide the equipment needed for three more of our graduated veterans in 2024, with more equipment to be supplied to our next winter/spring 2025 graduates.

SPW Apollo enjoyed being read to yesterday at a local elementary school. The kids purchase time with school money by doing good deeds once a month. This is excellent training for our in-training dogs, plus an incentive for the kids to earn those school dollars.

As we move into 2025, we want to thank everyone for their support throughout 2024. Moving into 2025, we can't wait to continue sharing photos of puppies ready to train with puppy raisers soon. Even more important is what these puppies will mean to the individuals who will one day receive them. Again, thank you for all your support as we try to save lives four paws at a time🐕‍🦺

Yesterday it was such a beautiful day we decided to start the Bernedoodle pups on their 4-wheeler training. By the end the were loving it. 😍

Good morning everybody. Enjoy watching our SPW puppies getting ready for the day.

We have some help today, seeing how good our next group of service dogs are doing.

Absolutely beautiful day for the veterans and dogs to enjoy life on the farm. Yes service dogs get to be dogs!

Such a great moment. We recently did recertifications with some of our veterans and their dogs. It’s a great time to see who’s been keeping up on training and to see all our SPW pups back in one place. With another recertification around the corner for some don’t forget your hour a day downs 😉

Who is training your service dogs. Are they responsible, someone you can trust, enjoy puppies and dogs, teaching their obedience. Well we might have a new trainer in a few years, but right now she needs to be supervised.

Puppies born with a purpose! These little cuties are our new set of pups and we are always looking for puppy raisers. Reach out to ask us how to sign up!

Out for breakfast, Thirteen Service dogs hidden away under the table . Well done teams, it is a privilege to work with people so deserving.

We are starting one of our biggest groups this month. Nine more Service Peace Warriors teams will be put out by the end of May.
