Meet the rescues! These horses came from a kill pen in Texas just a few months ago. They’re currently being rehabbed and retrained in the hopes they’ll find new homes soon.

Mud irritation:
With all the rain we received this year, there’s bound to be plenty of mud for the horses to stand around in. This can irritate the skin and cause hair loss. It’s important for horses to have at least a small dry space in their pastures/stalls so this doesn’t become an issue. This horse was living in a really muddy pasture. When this irritation was discovered, we moved her to a dry stall and treated with the product MTG. It’s amazing to see the healing process! Enjoy these before and after photos.

Meet Willow. Rescued from a kill pen in Texas, Willow and her 2 sisters Phoenix and Luna are enjoying their new life at Gibson Ranch Equestrian Center. These 3 Percherons currently being trained to go on trail rides and pull carts. Stay tuned for more updates on these lovely girls!

Ryan’s first ground driving lesson with his horse Diesel. They did great!
Ryan is learning to drive his horse so eventually he can go for carriage drives around the ranch! I look forward to continue working with this awesome team!
