All good things must come to an end! Thank you to Roger and Mary for entrusting me with their boy V Girmo z Cagova raje, IGP 3. Girmo was imported to the states around 13 months old with a little bit of training, happy to say I was able to take a client dog to a world championship! Here is a run down of everything him and I did together ❤️ enjoy retirement buddy❤️

This beautiful girl’s name Ms Mara she’s available for adoption through Redemption Rescue, Inc.
Mara is around 1 years old (just a little thing), spayed, up to date on vaccines and is here for training. She’s a little socially awkward at times but easy to manage. She’s looking for a human that will be patient with her and enjoy her zoomies because she’s very fast 😂❤️ things she knows: sit, down, stay, recall, manners, place, stay and the e-collar. Newman if available for adoption with Redemption Rescue, Inc.! Newman knows all his basic obedience: sit, down, stay, place, heel and a recall. He is trained on the e-collar. Newman does resource guard food and other high value chew items around other dogs but that’s easily managed by only getting these items in his crate. Mila found her people! I’m so happy I was able to help Mila with her obedience training ❤️

As we all get back to the hustle and bustle, we wanted to do a formal announcement for a very special adoption.

Mila, who came to us as a puppy, then who was surrender to a local shelter out of nowhere in March, at the age of one….. Finally has her forever home after waiting with us for 9 months.

After we picked her up from the shelter, we noticed she no longer enjoyed other dogs company, like before, so we needed to find a special home who would be okay with having just one dog.

She received obedience training for three weeks from our friends at Radical K9 then went on to be fostered at The Treasure Nest by Swails who showed her the ropes to become a dog again. We waited and waited… then with help of a foster sharing her and the Alter family doing a trial, the stars aligned and they couldn’t give our sweet girl up!

Thank you to her fosters over the past year and more who showed her the love she deserved. She is finally home!

Radical’s Hannibal handled by Samantha Jimenez ❤️

An IGP trial at core is intended to test the attributes of the working dog to determine suitability for breeding, with goal of improving the breed. It is an excllent test, one that has stood the test of time. Working dogs love it and along the way it became a sport. A sport that many are passionate about. But at core it is a test.

At the 2021 USCA GSD National Championship, for Radical's Hannibal, an element of environmental stimuls was added during his Search for the Helper when (wait for it) a frigging CANOPY rolling onto one end of the trial field followed by number of people rushing out to catch it. You can't make this up. Hannibal stayed focused on his job and completely ignored the chaos as he continued to search blinds. It must have been obvious to him that the people on the field were not the helper he was searching for, so he ignored them. This episode revealed the focus and stability of this fine dog. No plan for this. Love it when it works out this way.
